the park was almost bone-dry. there were no black water pits.
here is "mud-pit" (supposedly black/red)

Why thank you sir!
Huge shout out to Ian! When I moved to DC, I couldn't move everything and unfortunately my camping gear was one thing that had to stay behind, but Ian was nice enough to let me take the other bed in the trailer. I can vouch for Ian's craftsmanship and work on the trailer, it held up to a downpour of rain and even some hail and didn't leak at all!
So thanks for everything Ian, it was a blast! We will definitely have to plan another trip to hit the trails again soon.

it was cozy, even without insulation. the roof never gave in with the rain and wind, and only 3 minor leaks after the 2nd day from the duct tape (waterproof, uv-proof, clean release). it was hailing at one point, and there are no dents. i figure if the trailer can stand up to 30mph gusts, sideways rain, and marble-sized hail, i'm good for anything!

Yeah I did too, I'm just sorry I had to bail and couldn't wheel more today...Next time I will be there for both days...Yeah I think new tires would go a long way, although you were able to tackle everything you attempted. I was really impressed with how well your truck did. When you get the locker and new tires you'll be unstoppable

thanks! and you actually guessed my next mod with the compressor. i want to fine one, but there's a problem. they are cheap, so when they go bad, they're thrown out all-together instead of listed. i can find them on ebay, but shipping is a ditch. i'm keeping my eyes open, though
can i anticipate the placement of said tank? i'm guessing you are looking to put it in the spare wheel well (and move the spare to a swing-out)? yes or ?
on finding the dead compressor, two possibilities: wanted ad on your local CL specifically asking for broken compressor (including a picture always helps) and freecycle if you have it in your area.

nope on the "mounting location"
i'm just going to have it separate, as a portable unit. that way, it's not always taking up space or weight. i'll pack it up for trips, but it's staying home for dd'ing and local visits.
yep, i'm putting out an ad now, looking for a good pic to use...
