got a little frame for my compressor made up

propane tanks have a rating of about 300 psi, and a relief valve at ~280, so i've got a cheap source of air tanks

and the (temporary) electrical hookup

excellent re-purposing. another good choice is a pancake type tank from cheaper portable compressors. the motors on those units are cheap and generally burn out really quickly but the tanks are solidly build and come with pressure valves and dials (often can be found really cheap on craigslist).

anyway, nice work!

thanks! and you actually guessed my next mod with the compressor. i want to fine one, but there's a problem. they are cheap, so when they go bad, they're thrown out all-together instead of listed. i can find them on ebay, but shipping is a ditch. i'm keeping my eyes open, though

too much rain to try it out on anything bigger than my stock tires this morning, but it works awesome! it took more time to set it up than to inflate all 4 tires. it's quick and smooth. with larger tanks, it shouldn't run as long.

pics incoming...
