See when I wait like that the guy never comes till like 7pm and have no time to do anything with it. But when I think it's not gonna show up for another day or two, blam, the guy's knocking on the door and I am in the middle of something else. lol.

on another note, i think i finally found a fix-all to the headlight wiring harness, retaining the stock functionality of the high-beam indicator, and keeping the highs and lows separate.

Hhahaha.... PLEASE don't sweat yourself about it... you get PLENTY done... I am really falling behind, buddy,.... trust me, I can relate to 'NO TIME', lol.

Heck, IMAGINE if you were one of those 'rave every free minute you have' type guys..... that thing would be STOCK still! hahaha. I think you make great use of your time, and for a younger dude.... you're a good example, Ian... Don't sweat it

AND, .............keep scheming up new electro-gadgetimusitus projects! Many of us love stealing your ideas! hahaha.

So, why the headlight harness upgrade? Cuz our wiring is like something out of a 20's house? hahaha...(all hard and crumbling! ESPECIALLY back east, right?) .....

Or, are you kinda getting it ready for both... the 'upgrade' and 'eventually upgrading the lights, all together' ..........?????

I was thinking of running those roundeyes kits...... but I've heard mixed things about 'how worth it it really is', ya know? Blakefogt seems to love em... Hmmmm. lol.

naw, just upgrading the wiring. the stock circuit uses small wires, tiny switches, and weak connections which result in lower voltage at the lights (dimmer). with my circuit i posted, the full voltage will be able to reach the lights (brighter)

oh, and by the way:

I did my headlight harness upgrade and the difference is amazing Mark... there is even less elec. load based on volt gauge evidence.

Like seeing shiney parts show up at the door. I know electric is one of your strengths. Is that a diagram you came up with in your earlier post?

i still have stock exhaust behind the cat. i actually had to take out the small extension i made. the headers are built for a 12.5" cat, not the old 17" that i had.

pics!

impressions from driving this morning: they're smooth-flowing. i don't really know how to describe it other than that. they do bring out the torque. i was able to accelerate uphill at 30mph in 4th, and getting off the line was quicker, too
