ah-ha... ah-ha... ha...
so, i got my flywheel back, put the puller to good use (bearing came out), and rear oil seal housing is off. good stopping point for tonight.
anything else? nope. but i will need to go home and grab the last bit of stuff from marlin, "out for delivery" right now.
sweet.

Great news,........ just be gentle getting that sucker back in there, get to that 1/2" point, then start all the bolts and crosspattern-sequence them things in lil portions until it's DUNNNNN-DU-DUN-DUN-DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! HAVE FUN, BE SAFE!

so it's been a bit more of a pain than anticipated, so the tranny gets bolted in tomorrow.
plan for getting it lined up: bolt the trans mount to the cross-member, bolt the cross-member to the frame, do not bolt the trans to the mount. that way everything should be fairly lined up (side-to-side, up-down, axially). we shall see.
and i have a few pics from today, i'll upload them a bit later

I could'nt resist the little seat joke earlier...
