Haha I can't say I don't do the same thing sometimes...

So far I like the e3 plugs. I have had them in for about a year and I haven't had any problems yet. When I first put them in, my truck was more or less stock and I noticed an increase of about 1-2 MPG. The engine runs and idles smoothly but I didn't notice a real performance difference.

Since then I have added a 3" lift, 33X12.5 MT/R's, 15" steelies and a Yakima rack (among other things) so needless to say the 1-2 MPG gain is gone but my engine still idles nicely and runs smoothly.

cool. i might have to try them. that's the thing about driving as much as i do. i can try different parts sooner, because my tune-ups are closer together. 100 miles a day means almost 3000 miles a month (oil change this weekend), and a little more than a tank of gas every week. so, any easy increase in mpg is worth checking out

oh, and it looks like you can change your sig's

WOW! I'm impressed, lol... What size tank do you have? Rather, what would you say you're clocking, MPG wise?

19.2 gal tank, ~17 gals a fill-up, ~20.5 mpg (regular)
the most fuel i've had to put in was 19.1 gal after i replaced the fuel pump bracket and drained the tank. i was coasting to get to the station

Hahaha.... I have a 17gal and that happened to me, but from literally crawling to the 'next station' on the 395hwy(sierras) North of me in Cali... I WAS TRIPPIN, lol. A buddy got stuck and it took a bit too much of our Gas trying to get him out.

14 Gal fills mine up, cuz my light goes on at 3 gals left, lol. Best wishes on the rest of your plans, Ian.... lookin good!

Wow I can only dream about getting that much out of a tank, of course most of my driving is stop-and-go city driving.

filled up today (18.4 gal). means i had less than 16 miles to go... also cranked the t-bars another 3 turns for a total of 8 turns. i feels like the front is up a bit more, but i'll see how it is next week.
a friend of mine works in a performance shop (as in euro racers) and is gonna fab me up a flanged extension for the new cat. cool. so that should be on by next weekend

stopped yesterday for a neat photo op:

oil is changed, castrol edge 10w-30, k&n hp-1002, and drained the tranny, but only had enough to fill half, so the rover sits for a day. i'll get it filled tomorrow. oh, yeah, and it looks like it hadn't been changed in a looooong time:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianrab/5170841422/mmmm.... whole bunch of gritty stuff

That would be correct. I really wish they either put a more powerful V6 or even a V8 in but there isn't a whole lot we can do about it now...
