That will be nice. What material are you using to make the end cap? Lexan is easy and cheap. You can heat gun it and bend it into shape, then you could easily add holes for switches or accessories on the end cap if you wish later. I use the yellow cpvc glue found at home depot to volcanize lexan to the yota plastics or itself, btw.

abs sheet and acetone ... it still works with the heat gun, but it's already textured on one side and will bond well to the original. also, i already have a gallon-n-a-half of acetone

Probably the little screen is an arduina. Little open source computer module for all sorts of stuff... Monitoring sensors.

Probably, mine was very warm when I drove the 350+ miles to OBX. And those little temp sensors aren't as accurate As you'd think.

so i went up to see xlaxx this past sunday. he's got a nice 4runner now. his undercarriage is cleaner than my interior. no exaggeration. anyway, we got to talking, and now i need a few things: ham radio (not really, but would at least like to get the license), new cb antenna, and to remove the cap. my plan for the cap was to make it into a camper, but since i have the trailer, i don't need it. i'm thinking of a tool box that sits within the frame rails, so if i want to put something like a soft-topper on, i can. just a thought

then you will definitly need to thoroughly test it. that would include but not limit you to a rigorous shakedown...many trips to WOT! I got leathers and extra helmets if you need.
