i usually get between 21 and 23, and if i run the tank dry, i can push 400 miles out of a tank.
err, kinda. the area that it's in feels like the back woods, but then the bay is 2 streets down. i like what i'm getting for the money.
here's the neighborhood:
< south -- north >

sunday was nice out, and there were no mosquitoes, so i thought i'd get some stuff done. first i took off the air intake and cleaned that up a bunch. when rinsing off the air filter, i could tell by the way it held water that the filter needed to be cleaned badly. i also took apart all the intake tubes to clean them out. once the filter was ready to go back on, i used some automotive goop (brand) to seal up the air filter better around the seams.
then i finished painting the intake. i still need to clean it up a bit, but at least it matches now...

Sweet! I think a week is being optimistic you probably won't be fully moved in for a few months... before you get everything where and how you want it... which will last until the gf decides she wants it all different [even if she does'nt actually live with you]...
So we need to think about housewarming gifts for you I guess...
I usually go the traditional route and give the following items:
1. A loaf of bread so the home will never know hunger.
2. Salt so the home will always be healthy.
3. A bottle of red wine so the home will always have good times.
these sorts of gifts date back to ancient times.
You are a little far away for me to deliver them in person so consider them given "virtually" lol... [I'll try to find a pic and post it later]

so i have a lot going on this month and next. work, moving, and everything else are taking up all my time. nothing has been done to the truck since a week ago when i drove my trailer down to park it at my new place.
this past weekend, i got a good chunk of my stuff down there; enough so that i can start living there as early as this coming weekend.
aaaannnndd... now that i have a home address, i can register the truck in maryland. (sorry guys, no custom tags for this broke guy)

Around here "Historic" plates have yearly mileage restrictions on them I'm told...
no idea why....
kind of insulting that 20yrs old qualifies as historic what does that make me [43]? antique?

^^^ oops 'vintage'! I knew I've seen another plate around here. Good idea on a dd, it makes making big mods easier since you aren't dependent on the rig. I offset my mileage with my bike, but I do love driving the runner.
Where are your new digs in Maryland? If you posted it I didn't see.
