I can't see what kind of slides they are. But the fact they are on the top is not a problem. What is their weight rating ? I tried to go with lowest weight rating I cam get away with because they are super heavy. I ended up with 250lb for the pair, but they won't hold that much weight. No way lol.

Looking good!

thanks. No weight rating at all. it is something I was thinking about to see if they could work.. they are just a plate with some rubber wheels with bearings. They act more as a guide to keep the drawer centered.

You've done great things again. The finished door panels look like they belong on the truck and the drawer system very useful and well done. Nice!

Thanks Habanero! Appreciate it.
Now I just need to get the transfercases back together.

Got the BS covid19 drawer distraction project put together and installed. Need to paint and slap some carpet on top. Ended up taller than I wanted but overall happy with it.
2 drawers, inside dimensions 6 × 17 x 37"

Slapped some cheap carpet on top and added some aluminum channel on the edge.

The carpet reminds me of our conference rooms. Lol. Looks better with the carpet! Is your cubbyhole to the right accessible? Or just don't need it.?

great my truck is a conference room
I can still access both cubbies

passenger's side cubby is accessible by popping up a small wooden access piece. I may had a set of hinges at some point

Harder to tell on the driver's side cubby

That is not a bad thing. Once you get tired from working from home, you can work from your 4Runner!

Thanks Gevo. I wish it was a real hotwheels. There are a couple of people on instagram that turn your trucks into a hotwheels for a small fee.

Finally got to use the winch on the 4runner.
I caved and called my friend Don at Northwest Toys in Monmouth. He is tackling my halfway done dual case behind the a340 swap. Truck has been sitting for almost 2 years..it was time to see professional help.

also ordered a 3" hole saw

so I can see if a snorkel for a hilux will fit a 4runner

it will probably be 2-3 weeks before i get the 4runner back but it will be worth the wait..
will have to install the seats and figure the center console around the triple sticks.
also gonna have to get it through emissions and get tags.
I was really burned out on this thing but am getting motivated to drive it again and hit some winter trail runs..been way to long
