Dropzone's 1994 4runner Build AKA: Project Recycle:
#402
it was good to find out they were all still available
I looked at a few discount toyota sites and they were all priced very close to each other.
ended up getting them from https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/
ordered on March 1st, had them by 3/6..
it almost seems counter intuitive to put 2wd stuff on a 4wd

Wow you ordered new parts! I never even thought of trying to buy new, ended up with junkyard parts.
The 1KD swap requires a new oil pan and sump, prices in the neighborhood of $300...ouch. So I think I will just end up modifying the existing by flipping the pan(not an option on the old IFS oil pans) and drilling a few holes. The sump will need extending. Wish we had these engines in the states.
looking forward to your updates.

I am debating about selling them and getting some BFG KM2's. Some old school Outlaw II's would-be cool on this thing.
The sun showed up today so decided to try to clean up the 4" Trail Gear springs from the Trekker that are being recycled and thrown in the 4runner. Wasn't really happy with how high it sat so gonna give pulling the two smaller springs a shot to see if it ends up lowering the 4runner a little

Hopefully everyone has the last blast of winter. Looks like you are getting quite a bit done. There is a lot of things from the Trekker making it over to the runner.

Haha...the plate will actually be mounted behind the Trail Gear Bumper
I hear you, hoping it doesn't end up like a sky scraper too.
front hanger is the low profile mount from Low Range so that should help along with using the old spring from the Trekker.

I'm shopping for them now. I like those on the 1987-1999's. Firm and promotes an upright, alert posture. Stock Toyota seats make one slouch. I hate that
Don't know if you already did the wiring but that's ^^ the same wiring scheme Redeth, Chefyota and I used on ours, except we fused (I used fusible link 4 gages smaller than the bat-to-alt wire) the new direct batt-direct-to--alt cable at the battery.
