I just realized I forgot about this thread again. And left you guys hanging in the middle of lowering my SAS. Check out the finished video here:

I love the new height, its waaay better for wheeling, and more stable on the road. I would highly recommend lowering your SAS the same route we did.

I'm back for my yearly update to this thread! Somewhere along the line I installed a e-locker in the front!

I also made a how-to install and wire e-locker video.

The most exciting mod I have done this year is DUAL T-CASES. I used the Trail Gear R150 to gear drive case adapter, MC 08 Doubler, with 23 2.28 front and rear. The triple sticks are custom made using trail gear twin sticks.

To mount it I used the Trail Gear dual case crossmember / skidplate. Super beef! Brand new rear driveline from Pats, and my old square tube was actually to long, and worked perfect for the duals!

As you can tell it was a little to late for that rocker.. Haha!

Ive seen some of your videos and never realized you had a build here. A lot of work done on that truck! I think the 3.4 swapped Toys of this generation are the best of everything.

Im curious if you have a review of your Elocker now that youve had it for a while.

Its been a minute.. And alot has happened.

I got tired of putting premium fuel in the Pickup, so I ripped out the supercharged 3.4 in favor of a V8. I landed on a 2UZ originally, it was practically free.

Here I test fit it

before putting it in she got new valve cover gaskets, spark plug gaskets, intake and exhaust gaskets and a fresh paint job.
Spoiler

Then disaster struck. A leaking fuel injector caused a fire, and the truck burnt up!

I stripped everything down, took inside of cab, fire wall and entire engine compartment down to bare metal where the fire damage was. Painted to colour match.

Now for the new motor! I decided since I bought everything for a 2UZ swap I should keep it in the engine family. So I found a 1UZ, honestly a better option anyways, lighter, period correct, and just looks better in general.

While I waited for parts and was in body work mode anyways I decided it was time to bob the bed! Took 11 inches out of the bed.

No 4th gear???

Hello! Im having a swap done right now and ran into one issue that you seem to not have...so hoping you can help.

Vehicle is an 89 pickup auto 4x4 with 3.0

Donor was 2002 tundra 3.4 2x2 auto

ORS says that you want to use a T100 ECU to avoid issue, so that is what we did.

The mechanic did all the wiring, no ORS harness at all.

Everything is connected and working except 2 things...below is the message from the mechanic.

"Your model year happens to be a hydraulic controlled t-case, so those two last wires (S4 & ECT PWR) directly connects into the ECU..
S4 & PWR for ect is not present on t-100’s ECU so i’m stumped!"

So it drives and shifts fine, but wont go into 4th gear/ OD. AND...I guess the ECT things doesn't work...dont really care about that,

Any advice...how to get an auto transmission to shift into 4th gear?
