lift up the front end and spin it by hand and see how it sounds. do a side to side and up to down shake on it and look for loose parts. maybe even put it up on all 4s might be dangerous without using an actual lift and put it in 4wd

Uhh... your false water pump is failing. thats why you're having fan problems. You need to replace this as soon as possible before the shaft comes out completely and jumps into your radiator and grenades everything.
When you pulled your fan clutch, theres 4 studs it attaches to. that is the False Water Pump. you need to pull the radiator, hoses, belts, fan, fan shroud, fan clutch, timing belt cover, and you'll see the False water pump. all it is is a Cover for the water pump, with a few bearings and a shaft. its more of less used for a guide for the belts. ) but I can almost guarantee this is the culprit.

Better safe than sorry, The false water pump is like 60 bucks. better than having the fan grenade and launch large ABS plastic into your hood, radiator, and hoses. I have a NAPA one, and it seems to be holding up. the first one I bought had a defect and the entire assembly pulled out and knocked all my belts off.
I think AISIN ones are 130 ish from the dealer.

Okay, well I called up NAPA today and had them order me up one. I got the NAPA one which was around $114. I asked if they had an AISIN part but it was about $2xx. Money that I don't have right now. What sucks is I got laid-off a couple days ago, haven't been compensated as of yet. I haven't even got my student loan yet which makes things even worse. So if this doesn't work I'm just gonna run it, because I don't have much of a choice.
I'll see what happens. The guy that I know pretty well from NAPA says he's sold a few and haven't heard of any trouble with the part.
For now I greased my ball joints, unfortunately my cheap ways got me unserviceable tie rods lol. Hopefully the metal to metal sound goes away even if it's for a little while. When I go to NAPA tomorrow to pick up the part I will listen for it. Ever since I started college I've been a little neglectful then I used to be when I was in high school.

Got a new fan bracket, but it didn't fix the problem. I don't really know what it can be. Either I got a faulty part or something else is wrong. Either way, I've run out of funds for the time being, so I'll just have to run it as is for now.

Yep, I just went over to take a good look at the fan, and there's some weird bends to it as I was rotating it. I'd be really mad at myself right now, but it was kinda cool getting behind the timing cover. Who'd of thought that the fan would be bent, the last thing on my mind.
I'm just tired of dealing with it already, it will be the third time once I dive into again. Time to look at cooling fan prices.

Or maybe u bolt chatter which then just oush on drive shaft any movement is bad .. but nice truck man makes me almost wanna post not sas mine!! I just like the looks of a sas personaly

Thanks man, the noise was actually because there was little to no grease in the ball joints. Fortunately, after I greased them up and installed the new fan bracket to go take it for a drive, the noise was gone.

Cool, I found a '94-'95 Fan here for $107.27.

I'll see if I can find any that's cheaper than that. As soon as, probably, next week rolls by, I'll be having one shipped here overnight.

I wonder if a 22re fan will bolt to the 3vze fan location. Just in case I order the wrong one. The diagram from the link I posted where the fan is sold, looks like it's not a 3vze. It says 6 cylinder though.
