To be honest, I have no clue. There might be an add-a-leaf back there. I thought the only thing that was lifting it was the 3" block I took out. Either that or it's the newer tires in the back.

I'll take a picture of the leaf springs when I go out to my truck later today and post it. Maybe we might have different set-ups.

My bad didn't realize it was 5 o clock already haha. I just ran out and took pics. Can anybody spot the culprit or see if my leaf springs look different than stock?

That coilover setup is sweeeet! What do the shocks look like fully extended and compressed? How much room is there at fully stuffed? Your truck looks awesome, keep up the good work!

Thank you, the shocks look fine extended, looks a little close when compressed, but should be fine I think. If I ever get any pictures I'll post them, I can't flex as easily as before when the torsion bars were in there, so the stock jack under the control arm won't do anything besides lift the tire off the ground.

I'll just post a new thread and maybe someone can point it out.

Yep just posted a thread and got my answer. It's an add-a-leaf, I don't think I want to take it out yet though. It's causes the rear to be stiff, but it clears my 33s better and I still have my trailmaster shocks in the back lol.

Thanks, as soon as I get new Ball joints and Tie Rods (Mine are beat to death) I can go offroad with some friends and take videos.

Hopefully I can get this truck to be at least chase truck status, then I can move on to building a legit tacoma prerunner someday haha.

Amplifier

Not really an update, but I got an amplifier for the 6x9s on my doors. I just got new ones and I like to play my stereo really loud on the highway, so to prevent blowing them out, my friend suggested to get an amp. So I got this baby, for pretty cheap too, since it was on sale.

I'm thinking about putting it behind the passenger side seat, running power wire through the middle of the cab, and speaker/signal wires along the passenger door jamb.

are your coilovers the FOA 2.0 or 2.5?

They are FOA 2.5. You could run a 2.0 coilover for better clearance of everything, but a 2.5 won't heat up as much as a 2.0 when you're going hard on it. Basically either of them will work though.

When you ordered your shocks from F-O-A what valving did you go with for the compression and rebound? Also what psi is the nitrogen set to in your shocks? Will be going the same route in 3 weeks only with the F-O-A 2.0's.

I don't know what specs the shims are, but I went with [compression: med/firm] [rebound: light]. Psi: ~150

I could, but I'd have to grind the control arm more so it doesn't hit the coil springs. I think I might replace the stock bumps with King bumpstops down the road.
