Just got off work and home, that happened last night about a half hour before I was set to stop to get ready for work. Just snapped a pic, shut off the light and walked away.
I quick check this morning with a depth gauge (aka: screw driver) reveals the problem, that hole in a factory 22rte block is twice as deep, my "converted" block was not properly prepared and I didn't catch it doing the mock up.
I'm not sure where my notebook is but from memory the feed should have been 12x1.25x28mm backed by the step down to the oil passage at 8mm. What I got seems more like 12x1.50x10-15mm, and a step down to 5, it's half as deep before the step down and the lip felt larger.
Not sure how to proceed, Mike never returned my call about shipping a 22re gasket set instead of the 22rte one I expected. And we both made mistakes that resulted in the foul-up, wrong size and I didn't catch it..
Maybe tap the galley and put an AN4(?). The other thought was drill pin holes insert some sheet metal screws and plug the whole thing off with JB weld and steel wool, which leaves me needing a new oil supply so a remote oil filter or oil cooler bracket would be needed. Yime and money time and money, sigh, and snow will be here eventually.

Rabbits are trouble makers, no better than the mice!
I've got probably half a dozen wires to repair in the EFI harness, damage ranging from severed to sheathing compromised. The whole section of the body harness for the wipers pretty much gone between the fender and motor. EGR temp sensor has all its sheathing gone.
On the other side the brake fluid switch wiring is gnawed away right to the firewall. (This side is maybe mice)
So far I haven't found any droppings or wire bits inside the passenger cabin.
Will be pulling the engine this weekend, it's ready to go just hanging off the engine and transmission mounts.

Runs drives has two or three sections of subharness that needs rebuilt/repaired.
However I'm not sure where the cross-member bolts (90105-12166) are, pretty sure they were in the 4runner when I out it on its roof last winter, and can not find the size via Google.
=(
It's supposed to snow tomorrow night, and I really wanted this on the road before the snow fell.

Could you buy the wires with the Toyota color pattern?
