How does your rig feel off road? I have 4" springs in the front and 5" in the rear and it feels a little to high for me. I was thinking about taking out the bottom leaf to drop it and give her a little more flex. my runner sits level with 5 in the back and 4 up front, you have 4" all the way around and it looks the same. Have you done longfields yet, im just curious i cruised through your thread tonight (obviously i didnt read every page) I didnt see anything on your axle build I might have skipped it though. Nice lights and nice truck keep up the good work.

150 Amps max to the Aux Fuse blocks of the style I have ( which I'm sure everyone's seen....).... I already have 5 at this point running off of it, and all of my 7 inch LED light bars in Paris will be running off single posts. Each pair Paul about 12 amps so I will run a 20 Amp fuse for each of the 4 pairs.... And actually, the 20 inch light bar on front will be running of the same switch as the two front facing roof lights, 7 inches each. That runs 20 amps, so I will probably reroute just those to the battery off That same single 40 amp relay. 3 more relays for the other three pairs, but if it starts to run too high on the amperage end for that blue sea fuse block, I will just add the Dell tech as well, which is another 6 posts . I don't think I will need to, because if I just use those three pairs, that's only 60 amps worth of fuses... Remember, each pair is only pulling 12 amps... And they will all be on separate switches, and relays, so I don't necessarily have to have them all at once.
That is why I got the dual post battery... Well I'm definitely going to need one more thing at least running off of there,.... The 130A alternator. The reason I have free running off of the side post is because one of them is a fusible link, another one is the four gauge wire running all the way back to my compressor, and one of them is another four gauge wire powering the actual refuse blocked, which at the maximum of a hundred fifty amp draw,... Well, obviously I wanted a large and short as possible wire running there and I certainly didn't want all of that stuff, or even most of it, running of the chassis electrical. Yes, it's all connected want tickets to the battery... But it's better than pulling power right from the existing wiring, whenever possible. What I will likely do is run a large wire, probably 8 gauge, into a junction, off of some type of "ignition only" activated circuit. With a single bus off of something like that, coming out of the back of the kick panel fuse block, I will be able to jump whatever switched power accessories I need off of it without having to jump into anything else. I also have an Add-a-Line or two in there that I'd like to get rid of, but they work fine for now. I've never ever ever had a problem with any of those. I had them on my white 4runner for 230,000 miles, and I never even blew a fuse, let alone had a problem with any of the accessories I ran off of them. But let's face it, they are not very clean. Lol......

I've gotten used to it... It's giving me pretty good clearance for most stuff as far as cracking the bumpers and so forth... I may just eventually, but I really don't mind mess with the leaf packs like that at this point..... But I've already looked and some other things. It seems to ride really well, and now that I have gotten a complete graph on the triple stacks, it makes even more enjoyable. The next time I go rock crawling , I'm going to take a couple harder lines again.
It has inner & outer Dirty 30's, everything else pretty much is Marlin except for the wipers, which are those rubber style, felt delete types.

Like I said, I don't have time to time, but I'm getting quite a bit done and it's all pletely secure and tied down above the frame, completely hidden... It is totally the ceiling looking at the picture... Definitely brighter than it appears to be on the camera phone. Also as I mentioned, I will try my best to get a couple pills for my CRS condition, so hopefully I'll remember to take a Canon out there..... Get more precise & accurate representation of how it looks in person. The light on the undercarriage and underneath the truck is incredible... All the way across and I've only done most of one side & the front....

Heading out to finish the Rock lights... Should wrap it up in a couple hours.
On that note, I just wanted to let people know that if you plan to put in this kit, and it is your daily driver, leave yourself a whole day. Well, especially if you plan to loom and wrap everything, tucking everything away. You have to really think it out and get creative in order to hide everything. Even though that will take you a bit longer?.... IMHO, it's well worth it.... Not only for looks, but for longevity..

You do know how to get things done. One of these day, I want to go thru your thread and put all of your upgrades in one section. Your lights are looking great. I have some more catching up on your thread to do yet.

Woooot, maybe you can help me with that! Haha. I've been dying to do all 50 or so to mods and dozens of repairs in one thread with links. But I really need to go one at a time through them and clean them up and so forth. There's so much useless information in there. Lots of the troubleshooting stuff is very useful, some of which I've never seen come up again, much of which I gleaned from older gurus and so forth. I came up with quite a few ideas of my own as far as fitment, and the panels I pretty much thought up completely..... That was a lot of fun!
Thank you on the lights, and next post in minutes... Finally finished! I really went overboard on doing this cleanly, but I feel good, and I loomed or heat shrunk every single thing from front to back.......

XK Glow Rock Light Kit/ 18 - 6 LED per pod w/wireless remote........
FINALLY COMPLETED! ........
I will do a complete and thorough write up of the wiring-routing from the relay module for the remote and final decisions for locations of pods, sometime in the near future. I'm taking my mom to her 63rd high school reunion, coming up... So I have a lot of things distracting me as far as work, caregiving and preparing for that( I decided why not go for a couple days to see my dad as well while we're only 45 minutes away in Laughlin Nevada) . On top of that, we are going back again for Thanksgiving...
For now, here's a couple pictures. I can't stand how my phone is taking videos of these Lights... It is totally an inaccurate representation of what they look like, so I'm not even gonna bother posting it up. I will try another one with my Canon point and shoot, & I will get some pictures with my Canon DSLR... I know with the latter I will be able to find an aperture setting where it looks exactly like what I see with my eyes.......

Again, very pleased, and I'm very glad I chose this kit. It already came in handy. A couple times really late last night, I needed to head back out to the garage. But, I didn't want to have to disengage my alarm to get in and use them, just to find something on the floor. Woot! Haha

Hahahahahahaha! That totally cracked me up, because as I pulled back in the garage last night the lights were lighting up the Nobbys of the tires and making like a weird pattern on the ground. I could barely see it at first, and it forced me to lean my whole body out the window wondering what the heck is that? Lol. They will do the trick, that's for sure. And I don't think as far as having undercarriage light, there really isn't too much unless you are trying to run rainbow colors or something like that. Haha.

Lil better rendition with the point and shoot. I wanted to use my DSLR, but I need to charge it before I forget, so pulled the battery and I'm charging it. Most likely taking the truck on the trip, so I will try to get some pitch black desert pics using the Canon DSLR.... But, ... for now, these are PRETTY close....
I will combine the pics and do a video/pics/tutorial of how to install this kit, asap. Depending on weather, I might have my nephew help me so he can hold the camera.... REALLY helpful! haha.

Hey buddy, I've been skimming your thread the the couple weeks, haven't had the time to devote to YT like I would like to. Looks like you had a great time at pismo, some really awesome "ruby getting air pics and vids", the rock light install and OBA system look great to, you always do such clean work great job.

Thanks on the lights and pics and onboard air props.... It was a lot of work, I just need to take some time to do a good write-up so others can know what they're getting into, and so that they can have an easy time compared to me with a shorter planning period.

Just tested my new Kobalt Air Gun with locking chuck..... WAYYYYY faster..... took em dowm to 15psi and went up to 38psi for the trip to Nevada/AZ..... 45 seconds! Definitely loving the OBA!
BTW: On the Pismo trip, I waited for the tank to air up, 5 gallons..... This time, within 3 min it was at 150psi, and I decided to uncharge it and just treat the tank as passive.... It is FAST! 15-38 in under a minute? I CAN DEAL WITH THAT! lol
