Well, it's doing a lil better. .... Thanx, Will ....I hate to complain, I'm blessed to have a good phone! Just that the Yotatech app gives me so much grief lately.

Ok a, so as far as the lights...

I have a line on 8 of those lights for $50 less than list of the cheapest place, which is actually in Santa Monica, California. That's a run of 26 miles from me. However it is strictly forbidden under eBay rules, most often, to pick up items at a store that you purchased on ebay. I guess the reason is because eBay knows that once you figure out where the store is you will just bypass eBay and make a deal with them. I guess it depends as to which way is best for the store... They probably do fairly well through eBay, but I would imagine that when times are slower and tough on business they would like the option to have people just walk in. Obviously they're going to get a lot more business with eBay then they would walk ins...

I bring this up because one of the sellers contacted me, which puts me in an odd position. What I mean is if i do this deal I cannot mention the name of the store or recommend it if this is the route that I go. As far as the store, they have been around quite a while and have a fairly good feedback record. However, while I have been asking if I could just meet them at their store or warehouse in Santa Monica... It suddenly makes me a little uncomfortable to have a store breaking the rules. I'm not trying to be a goody two shoes, I promise. I am hardly that and I'm not some beacon of honor or anything, lol , I know this.... I'm actually more concerned, to be honest, with not getting as good of a warranty and so forth. It's $50 though... That would pretty much pay for all the wiring and switches that I would need. GRRRRRR! Hehe.

I dont have any suggestions for your wiring issues. Electric is a weak area of mine. I know just enough to be dangerous or to get myself into trouble.

I have just the basic phone and it works great for me, but I think this coming January every phone will be internet based as I understand it. I have access to a computer or when I am at the house or work so havent really needed a phone with all of the extras. Only when I am in St. Louis or on the lake have I ever wished that I had something like that. I hear about all the apps that are out there and sure that once you learn them, they can make life easier.

I do like the idea of having more lights mounted outside. I know you want them for wheeling, but they would be great while camping or fixing a flat on the roadside. I have picked up more bolts and screws on the road this year then I have in the past 10 years. Dont know what is going on, but is a pain changing tires on the road side.

I'm back to the mobile internet version of Yotatech. It just will not refresh or get me to the next thread and just continuously freezes up. I can't take it any more tonight. I can stand immense stress and persevere through crazy situations...... but something about this crap just pushes me to the limit.

SOOOOOO, I found another vendor as well, but they are 8 packs of all flood... I want 2 inSPOT so I will not click buy until they are guaranteeing me that's what I will get. They are in Torrance, which is my neighboring town. DONE! THANK GOD! Lol. ... Seriously, I'm so tired of this already, and I got my 20" for $99 which was a smoking deal. ... So I'm just gonna go for this one in the morning if the Santa Monica ppl haven't responded.

Btw,.... Sunyee sent me a new tracking#.... apologized for any delay in response and the 20" LED spot/flood combo light bar is going to be here on Tuesday according to FEDEX....WOOOOOOT! Lol.

its not that I need them by this weekend or anything... Its just that I want to get them wired and done you know what I mean? I will be getting my truck sometime this week and I promise it is not about trying to create a bunch of new projects. It's actually just a matter of getting things done that I have planned for quite a while. Every time I let something go like this, That's exactly when I will desperately need the wife I'm not have them. Y'all know what I mean? Lol. I want to be prepared for anything within reason!

Yep, you're right, buddy! And for sure the swap will be intense. .... but all manageable from my garage.

DONE! got an immediate response from the company in Torrance and they agreed to take a special order from me for 2 of the lights being spot and 6 of the lights being flood. Got confirmation immediately from them and they will ship them tomorrow. I should have them by Wednesday. Woohoo!

Here's the link.... in case anyone is interested...

Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=251299542620

Thought I would share some photos of examples of LED lighting and roof rack in particular. Some pretty cool Toyotas in here and an example of the side lighting is just 1 smaller LED light facing to the side.....

Hey buddy..... company I went with is near me and shops for free for $121....

Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=251296963352

Make sure you specify to them whether you want spot at 30 degree angle or flood at 60 degree angle. that's a huge difference in distance.

..... Update next, tonight

Right on..... And Sunyee is great! They have really been great, and got it to me, from 'posted', on the 3rd, TODAY! They are an Australian Comp. The reason they ship to us and other countries, from China, is because it's much cheaper to ship to the USA + from the, rather than Australia. Guess cuz is a teeeeny bit closer? Haha. Anyway, got responses from them with lots of, "THANK YOU, MATE! Hope it's proper bright for ya! " Haha

Ok, lil updates for the day:

1. My truck should be done between Wed. & Friday, this week! HOLY CRAPOLI, AM I EVER EXCITED! Lol.

2. I'm going to explain everything that's in and on it after getting it home!

3. Sunyee's 20" LED FLOOD/SPOT Light bar combo arrived in my hands, today, via the Santa from Fedexlandia! Lol......

Here, you can see that this style allows you to slide the mounting pads back and forth inside of a t-track. This is exactly what I chose for all of them and they are also adjustable on the rear by the additional bracket that you see included? .....

Hey Mark, just trying to play catch up, I've been without a computer for the last 2 weeks, had to get a new hard drive and mother board, luckily it was still under warranty! Ruby is looking amazing, man you really been making progress, your SAS looks sweet, and new bumper & winch... and your led's and lightbar are really going to top it off, nice work man!

Good eye! They did, & as Eric put it, "It's a REALLY clean shave, really happy how it came out!" .... Shave is just a #$@%-hair of a shave! Lol.

That space between the vertical pipes of the stinger is 20.75"..... His light bar wouldn't fit.... it's mounting pivoting arm is at 23" end to end cuz it's mounted this way. ....

.... My 20" bar is 504mm or 19.842".. that leaves me just enough room to fit a light bar between the mounts and then I can mount the sliding t track mounting brackets 2 the mounting tabs on the bumper...I just prefer the t-track style mount and pivot... It will be VERY secure!

I thought about putting it on the roof and I just thought that putting two 7 inch HID round lights in that hole like you saw in the other picture is some simply way too restricting of air for the grill, imho. I'm sure it wouldn't affect too much, I would still get her through there, but I would rather have a little as possible for those long road trips and Canyon Hills, you know what I mean?
