Right on Terry, I know you're a busy man and I will see you on here when I see ya!

Red, the roof rack will have the lights mounted to it and the rack is easily removable... my plan is to have a quick disconnect coming out from a hole that was previously a CB antenna mounting location. It's a perfectly round hole so I plugged it with a plug from Lowes. But I have an idea to use a power antenna grommet and run the wires through it ... When not in use I can quick disconnect the wires, remove that routing plug, then put the solid plug back in when not in use.

I have several thing saved on my phone but I can't seem to get to the weeks on the ebay app. It doesn't seem to let you do that. So I will show them later after I save the pictures or something. Or maybe from my PC it will let me do that .

I have a lot of CB antenna wire wind up up under the dash about the kick panel on the driver side. I'm going to be running that under the seats and through the panels to the back which I will mount on my new bumper... I was going to use the hole above but I want to keep from having any clearance issues and drama going into my garage. The truck is barely going to fit in there is it is with the roof rack off... Especially on 35's. But it should fit... I just don't want that antenna coming loose and then smack! Lol.

those lights..... I feel like a deer when i look at them, i would be concerned about having lights up on the roof rack, low hanging objects like to catch expensive shiny things. Mind you out where you are off road doesn't look to have much for low hanging obstacles so maybe it isn't a bad idea. Just my thoughts. Either way you need to get your truck and get some flex pictures pronto!

HAHAHA. ... I'm just messing with you... I know what you mean, but it's actually covered and thousands of opportunities to rip the roof of the truck, trust me. Regardless, and especially in those situations in the Sierras and sequoias and remote Angeles Crest... That is where I need the lights, and often, having only lights up front is just not enough, and furthermore, not having some as high as possible, I'm at least one in the rear... Well that's just asking for trouble if you wanted up wheeling at night out of necessity like I have many times. It's bad enough not having a truck that's capable to get through crazy stuff... But then to have no light or at the very most an adequate light is not good. Having a pie I will have to do my best to keep them at least partially supported by the rectangular slots on the side and front and rear of my vintage cage ....

I have some more to add that I have to go for the moment... I will be back with an update.

Yes sir.... I need to look back through some of the threads to find out where that was that I saw the setup I want. I really like the ones I saw and I think it was on Toyo's thread.

I have those strips I got a bit back at Big Lots, remember?..... Those will likely be inside..

I see the light kit Toyotech grabbed but the link he's posting up and wherever I look for it on line is coming up with some juice company...... www.horsepowerjuice.com/led-lights.html

So, these are possibly what I'm going with....

Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...d=400482325509

For that price, the XK Glow lights look like a good deal. I've been looking for some under-carriage LEDs like this. I'm adding them to my list. Are you going to pull the trigger on them soon, Mark? Thanks for posting the link!

I've also been looking at these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Rock-Lights-for-JEEP-4x4-Off-road-Fender-Lighting-/170510214782?pt=US_Car_Lighting&hash=item27b333667e

OCELL:

Everytime I see an EBAY link, it seems like it says there's nothing there. I think with those you have to do it under the share button. What I do is I just sent it to myself in a text message and then copy and paste it to my thread or wherever.

Not sure what those are but if they are the single Cree LED light in a housing?

I've also been looking at these: LED Rock Lights for Jeep 4x4 Off Road Fender Lighting | eBay
I have these ebay lights. Though well made the dispersal pattern isn't great.

Which? The ones I got with the remote? XKGlow? Or the ones in the link I can't read that Ocell posted?

We'll see. .... I think with 18 of them, I will have every spot covered. That I might need.....

1. 2 lights in each Fender, facing down/in a cross pattern of 30* or so, to cover the axle and brake lines & such, and also to cover more area with better dispersion by causing the light to have a little further distance to hit the ground, placing them in the slight diagonal angle to the ground.

2. 2 lights, each, on front and back bumpers, under/between bumper and frame rail.... Also crossing to cover more area...

3. 4 lights along each frame rail, 2 facing a bit more inward, to light the center/drivelines and 2 facing out very slightly from the slider mounting tabs area to light the body contact risk areas.

These also have strobe so if I'm in trouble and in back they could signal the homies? Lol. ... I probably will never use those as I don't want to be mocked! Lol. But maybe for fun? Hahaha. Plus I don't want them going through hundreds of cycles of on and off for no reason.

Oh well, we'll see, right?

******************************

My turn signals just got here. I think Scotty was having a little problem getting his stock refreshed so he just drop shipped them from Trail Gear.

THANX, SCOTTY! Love your work!

I need to figure out which resistor to get in order to prevent the signals from flashing too rapidly...... I know there's some friends up there so I'll take a look. But, if anybody already knows please let me know. DZ?

They make a flasher that is LED specific to fix that issue bud, any parts store has them, they're pretty cheap and just swap with the standard one.

Are you having rubby withdrawals yet?

Flasher relay? The TG led signals flash fast and need a resistor orrrr? I'm not sure I know what u mean Jason? What part of the auto parts store is it that I would be looking at?
