Oh nice. Ill pay attention to that in future build plans. Ill not just assume I need 5.29's.

How long till you get it back and what is your engine choice?

Hey Red wagon... . Hopefully by next weeks end. I'm very much hoping so, but I've thrown more stuff at em, so if not, thats my fault in a way. They are a small shop with 3 guys and calls coming CONSTANTLY! Can't turn ppl away, ya know?

Just went back 5 pages to catch up a bit, this thing is gonna be a total transformation. I completely understand wanting to have a bigger hand in the work but sometimes it just makes more sense to let the pros do there thing. Bumpers look great, as with everyone else can't wait to see the finished product, great work man.

Oh, so soon! Exciting!

I'm jealous.

I'll get mine soon enough though, I think you have a few years of a head start.

Have you narrowed down your engine choice? I think I remember reading in here that you where considering a newer 4banger?

Have you decided to go bigger? Like a 1UZ for example? Maybe a 2UZ so I can see a thorough 2UZ swap thread.

I'd love to cram a 2UZ into mine.

Hey Red.... Not sure just yet, but yes, you are right, I have been thinking about a supercharged 3RZ. Also done lots of reading on the 2UZ, but not lots on swaps. LS1 as well. 3RZ is likely the most practical and efficient while still having pretty decent power..... SC'd? Eric/Yotamasters has driven in two that blew his mind. Couple I know are pondering TDI swaps...

We'll see, ya know?

Thanks Brandon, Richard, ...

Its weird in a sense because it feels like it has been a really long year... Actually around 3 years. Been a pretty rough time through much of the last 36 months and as most people know, try as we might to make it otherwise the cliche usually stands its ground,... Time seems to crawl within trials. While I am NOT saying it's been all bad... Its just been very overwhelming, so when I look back over the last year , at this point in my life I actually feel is though it's more of a, " dang, is that all the time that's past?".. lol. But, wow what a joy she is. My grandson is growing fast as well. For some reason, even though he's growing fast during the same last year its almost hard to believe that he's 3!

They are actually a large part of why I decided to just do this rather than do it myself over time with SoCal 85 or otherwise.... It seems that as a grandpa I am called upon more often as the days go by. Well, that's awesome! However, it doesn't make me any less busy just because I enjoy it. Lol...

I really like the way this bumper is looking..... I can't wait to get it on there!

Hopefully later today, as it is looking by the tracking, I will get my RAdesigns triple stick assembly! Most likely tomorrow that I will be getting that together for assembly as well. Also, my LED turn signals should be here.... Woohoo! Unfortunately because I didn't read very well ahead I'm going to need to get a resistor... Without the resistor the signals flash very rapidly. I would think trail-gear might have figured this out by now and simply include it with the wiring for in the package ... But I guess I would have figured wrong if I figured that haha..

Boy do I ever hear you on trials making time drag.

You don't look old enough to be a grandpa! Beautiful baby and family. Nice work buddy.

Wow a supercharged 3RZ. So cool. In my reading I also have not found a lot of 2UZ swaps. I have read quite a few people pooh poohing the idea due to weight. My feelings on it is that the 2UZ was designed for what we do. The all aluminium 1UZ can't be as durable as a cast iron block.

What HP would a supercharged 3RZ push. What a sweet upgrade from 22Re.

SC 3rz now that could be interesting! i dont think i have ever seen one before. and if u find out what is needed for the led blinker lights can u post that in here? i had to put some grote LED signals on the front of my truck. The housings god smashed and lordco wants 60 dollars each for new ones. LED ones were 12 bucks each complete sealed unit and very bright!

think he hit a little higher than 4 psi. Hoping it was a typo, if not hes getting boost creep which is a sign of possible bad things to come, but god damn that is sweet. I've looked at the SC kits u can get for the 22re but that's a lot of coin haha

I would just do a stroker from LCE or stage 3 from 22reperformance.com if I didn't plan to keep it street legal.

the great thing about living up in the bush, no emissions, no inspections. so long as its below 1000HP and doesn't look like its falling apart its street legal.
