Dang Mark! He did a great job on those. I think that is gonna be one of the next things on my list to get after all my upgrades. Might buy the sliders around the same time i buy the CBI front bumper. But Dang Mark. You're truck looks very sharp! Lets hope you dont get too many battle scars on them on our offroad trip next month.

if you have to move the shocks due to a axle move from the springs you might be able to use long travel shocks more flex as well
as for the spring bushings new spring packs usually come with the ones in the spring eyes but not the shackle set your old springs if your gona use those if the bushings are in good shape leave um alone just IMO

Yeah William, was told they do not come with bushings, but I wanna call tomorrow to find out. I have to have my full order ready for 4wheelparts, and if I need some of it from other vendors, fine, just need to know which???? If I can find someone to do the flip kit shock mount welding I need done, sall good. But if not, then I'm not sure I wont wind up with a half boz of stuff I cant use for now. Are the flip kit u bolts the same as any longer ones I would use? Meaning, could I just use the bolts for now until I can get the flip kit stuffs welded later?
Terry, sup dawg? Yeah, not sure on the springs... RBX LOVES them... but he has considerable weight on me back there with the big bumper and tire carrier, etc....
Ive heard more good than bad, I guess?
Richard, sup mang? Hehe... You know im trying everything to do the full trip... and would love to have the top done for the trip!!!

Don't think that would work, using the u bolts from a flip kit. The stock ones are square u bolts that go across the leaf springs, parallel to the axle, the flip bolts are round u bolts that go perpendicular to the axle. Clear as mud?
I don't have experience with OME leafs, but I understand they do design even their light duty springs to carry extra weight pretty much all the time. My OME coils are definitely firm with no weight in the back, but not jarring. As for the bushings, they do not come included with the leafs, but you can get poly bushings from various people. I got mine for my SAS from Marlin, $16 for all the spring eye bushings, and they carry the longer ones for the frame end of the shackles too. Just a thought if you decide to go for the flip kit and shock mounts, might be able to get em all in one shot, you know?

Ok, this night not be as exciting to some people, but to me, I'm stoked! Hahaha. I managed to take a couple hours today and fully coat my sliders in the mystery color, fluorescent orange! Wooot! just kidding, obviously. Lol....
Even managed to hit my grill guard again with a nice coat, ridding any blemishes...
How did I do this? A shaken can, stirrer, oil based type brush, a lil tape, 2 hours tital and there is a very decent first coat!
Next Monday, a second coat will go on and be fully done/cured by the trip (dry to avoiding dinging in 7/trip is Mar.1-3)...
While at St. socal85toyota's pad, while he worked, but thwn felt useless, so I grabbed some windex, a couple rags and began to clwan thw underside of my 26 years of carbon-riddled hood! It was a PITA! lol... I tried degreaser, but it took too much paint.
Lil bit to go.....
DONE!....
PS> anyone think Lowes might have this? They have had so many clips and such... u can see the corner pop clip broke when I messed with it too much hahaha....

In the 3rd pic down, how much space is between the end of the slider and the start of the wheel well? I think it was you I was talking to, about the difference between 4xI and All Pro K.O sliders? The AllPro seem to be a few in. longer, or maybe i'm just looking at the pic at a bad angle. I think sliders are up next on my list

Yeah Mark, the pics were throwing me Aha I was just curious.... i thought about some sliders. But kinda like step sliders, like they mainly are the purpose of a step but there strong enough to take a hit if needed and would run basically the doors length, but thats way down the road though. Also looks great where you cleaned up under the hood!

Local mom & pop hardware is where i get all the fiddlybits I can't source from the salvage place they have the best prices. Auto parts would have them also but I had to buy a whole cap to get my last gasket.
eg Try the local Ace hardware for orings, gasket rubbers, and misc clips, they're atleast a smaller ownered franchise than our bigbox buddies.
