HERRO? lol.....

Ok, well, The intake is back on, but I'm going to let it set, fully, then re-check the torque, then button up the fuel rail and injectors, then starter-knock-oil sender, etc., then I'll install the upper intake, etc.....Tomorrow.

I sure hope it turns out well, ......and I'll letcha all know.

Thanks again, Guys!

Fhewwwwwwwwwww, ....lol,

Thanks, my fellow 4xFellers, I hope it works out as well! Hopefully, I'll have time to do ANYTHING tomorrow, as I'm hearing rumors of a desire to throw a "Pool-Party" tomorrow, ....but s'all good, cuz they all know me and the garage is RIGHT THERE, hahaha....so Yeah, I"ll just lay out some grub, head back in, serve lunch, head back in the garage again, lol....You get the point.

I'll keep y'all informed, asap. Oh, btw, wondered if anyone had seen "The Road", with Viggo? Just watched it last night, wondered what anyone might have thought. HEAVVVVVVVVVVVY, I'll just say that.

Anyway, I'm gonna crash earlier, I don't feel too well. Not sure what it is....it doesn't feel like a normal cold....more like exhaustion, but I've ran myself way harder than this, so ....maybe a combination of both? lol.

Talk to you L8r, t8r's!

OH, just a tip to any first time rebuilder.....DO NOT, I REPEAT, .....DOOOOOO NOTTTTTTTT CLEAN THE AIRCRAFT ALUMINUM PIPES THAT WRAP AROUND YOUR ENGINE...nor that bolt into your timing cover. Clean the surface that you're bolting to the cover or intake, sure, ...but don't OVER clean them.....THEY WILL VERY LIKELY LEAK!

"Funny story for the day";

Installing the intake, I looked down, grabbed the bolts for the intake, Toyota FIPG, placed the gasket on the prepped head, then intake on the gasket, .......then started installing the bolts, preparing to snug em by hand, first, right? I got to that ONE, YOU KNOW, under the thermostat(NO, not the allen bolt.....THE OTHER, the actual mounting bolt under the thermo-housing , and looked in the container,....NO #9 BOLT!!!! Luckily, I'd found one I'd removed that the builder had replaced.......then, reaching for my phone, REALLY TICKED OFF, lol...I felt something in my pocket....YEP!....THAT FRIGGEN BOLT had fallen RIGHT IN MY POCKET, when almost dropping the container of bolts, earlier. I thought, "nope, none fell", CUZ I DIDN'T HEAR IT! lol....Once again, I LAUGHED for most of the intake installation pattern! lol.

Ahhhhhhhh, ....yes, yes I am, lol. VERY nervous, ....NOT because of the what thought, thoroughness or quality of work was put into it......Rather, because of the DANG 23 YEAR OLD FITTINGS, ETC! lol. I should get it buttoned up, today, ...they're NOT having a pool party if it doesn't clear up(very cool and overcast).

Thanks, Jerry!

DANGGGGGGGGGG, now I'm really jealous! lol......I'VE BEEN DYING to get out there, again. SO MUCH WATER this year in the creeks and rivers, throughout Angeles Crest and Sequoias, .....CAN'T WAIT! NEED TO FISH, QUICKLY, THEN HUNT SOME DEER, ...THEN .......eat, lol.

WHEN I get this thing running sweet, I'm planning on the Suspension and Audio upgrades(including alarm at same time) next! I have a 20" flip down Monitor I want to mount, for DVD's for the camp'neighbors and my Grandbabyboy! Also want a head-unit with direct MP3,....HATE using a transmitter, SUCKS, lol. Also want some good ideas for auxiliary power. I have a plug in 150w Inverter, but for some reason, my battery only puts 11.5 to the lighter plug, ...GRRR, is that a toyota thing? I get 12 from the posts! ???

This trip is to Long Ranch off-road park with 20+ trucks from my Tacoma group, It should be a blast. I'll be sure to take a few pics for you. Wife & kids are going to Seaworld for 2 days with her sisters & ther kids while I am away, so it's just me & the boys & our trucks, I am really looking forward to it.
