I don't see it hurting any. Or you can just dump some cheap stuff in there now until you can get the bottles from summit.

Valvolene is on sale right now pretty cheap. I think it was like 8 bucks a quart.
Not including my work discount.

Haha I hear ya man.
Well the roll has slowly decreased to a...idk a waddle?
Autozone just called to inform me that they shipped the wrong transmission and they were over nighting a new one to me. So if my buddie isn't busy friday that's when it will be going in. If not, ill have to wait till monday.

But to speed things back up to a roll again, I just ordered a new flywheel over night for the truck and it should be here in the morning
So there's another 60 dropped into the rig. Along with the 35 dollars I'm about to spend in transmission fluid. I wish I could get purple power but not much choice right now. Ill keep yall updated.

Haha looks awesome. Whatever oil you run realistically wont make any difference, its a toyota.....it'll probably run without oil haha.

Nice find on the brake cable though lol. The Dorman company I told you about makes a couple rear cables, you just have to figure out which one you need to buy to replace the one thats broken....it is broken right? hard to tell from the pics....

I didn't have a good chance to look at it before i came to work but it looks like its gonna cost me a good 60 bucks or so...

I need to get around changing my tranny and differential(s) oil.
What weight do people on here recommend. Non-synthetic for stuff with 200K on it?

You know bubba, im really not a transmission guy so i honestly couldn't tell you.
I posted a thread not to long ago asking what i should put in a NEW transmission, but your more than welcome to go high jack that thread and see what you can find.

Well, I'm outside working on the truck now. Its about 45 degrees so its not to bad. And the rain surprisingly let up so that's a plus. I'm not a 100% sure but that oil leak I had, I believe I've fixed it just by tightening the valve cover down real good. I decided to take the bumper caps off and paint them. Pictures will be up later. New flywheel is here...everything's going pretty smooth except I don't have a parking brake...or second gear...two important items for a manual transmission with super swampers....
