Well dang. I'm outside working on the truck in a short sleeve shirt

Ok. Here's my progress.
At this point in time I have tightened down the valve cover nuts due to a small oil leak which I believe to be coming from the little half moon gasket on the front of the valve cover. I then sprayed all of the oil off of the front of the motor, So I could see if it starts leaking again. Now my next project is to trace this parking brake and see where the line has disconnected/popped. I crawled under the dash board and got the best look I could of the parking brake before it leaves it cab. I see one spot where the cable is frayed just a little bit, but not enough to cause the trouble I'm having...
So now I'm under the truck tracing it farther back. Does anyone have any suggestions where to look? Thanks.

Check the pins behind your drums to see if the ebrake is connected.

haha. It may be a good idea to replace it even if u cant find any point of disconnect or breakage, just because its starting to fray. I could see where mine had been fraying, and then it just finally broke.
The cable was only 20 bucks, and if nobody local can get it...summit has does.

Hahaha well fellas...I didn't get around to workin on the truck she convinced me to stay a little longer.
ANYWAYS...haha I'm going to pick up some 34x1050 super swamper TSL's for 450 bucks and my two rockford 10's. They have 90% tread, so 450 and the 30 I have in the speakers...that aint bad lol.
Hopefully I can go get them tomorrow I think they'll look sweet!

Yeah that's pretty much what I'm thinking. I mean, its not fraying bad at all, but I think I may go ahead and replace it. First I just need to find out where its broken first. If its not raining in the morning ill crawl up under the truck and see what I can find. But as of right now I know the break in the line isn't in the cab. We'll see tomorrow!!!

Well fellas, i had planned on working on the truck today, but i found an awesome deal on Craigslist for some 34x1050R15 Super Swamper TSL's already on black rims.
I talked him down from 650 to 500 and had to drive 140 miles round trip to get them. But HOLY CRAP it was worth it.
These tires have just under 3000 miles on them, they look BRAND NEW!!!
And these tires retail for like what...1250? So for 500 bucks...I got a helluva deal!

Tomorrow morning i plan to put them on the truck. Ill post pictures then. Here are some teasers. These are the pics he sent me, they dont do them much justice though.

He wanted to be on Yotatech.
I think he was more excited than i was haha.

While i was torn in i decided to go ahead and replace the brakes since i had em sitting in the tool box...And my old ones looked like this xD

Remember the wise people in our life always saying "Check the obvious things first"
Well...Here's a perfect example.

Found yaaaa!!!

Ok so...What now? Any ideas?

duck tape.

46410 CABLE ASSY, PARKING BRAKE, NO.1 46410-35530 1992.02-1995.01 RN101 $55.73 http://www.toyotapartszone.com

If your gonna replace it, make sure it broke because of rust etc etc and not because 1 or both bell cranks are seized.

Tires look good, nice score.
