I really do like them, They perform very well on and off road.

Pros: Ive been stuck only 1 time with them and that was because i hit a bottomless hole and completely bottomed out the A frame and raised the back right tire off the ground 4 feet or so. No POSI traction
Ive had them on the truck since June of 2010 and id say i still have 70 percent tread.
But i spin them constantly
Cons: The lug pattern is just big enough to pick up lots of rocks off of gravel roads.
And i hate the sound of rocks slapping my paint. :/
All in all, it was worth the money for these tires.
But im kind of ready for something bigger and more aggresive.

Well, i decided to just sand the whole bed down and re-paint it.
So im going as close to factory Toyota green as i possibly can.
Ill post some pictures hopefully tonight.
So far ive bought bondo and fixed all of the dents, I bought Duplicolor toyota green paint, Duplicolor clear coat, and sandpaper. So Ive painted the bed for around 25 bucks without bondo?

Alright, i know ive been slacking off, and not doing a whole lot of posting...
But im fixing this as we speak haha.
I just spoke with Autozone and my transmission should be here Monday the 31st.
Hopefully its going in tues wed or thurs.

We got a little bit of snow

OK...I decided to fix up some bondo work on the bed of the truck, and start my "Cheap, Broke, Pocket change, Duplicolor Paint job"
I found a green i liked that was close to the original color. I bought 2 cans of green and 1 of clear coat.

Making my marks

Then started grinding down the old bondo from the previous owner.

Time for more bondo

While waiting for it to dry.... Haha.

Back to work.

After all the bondo was sanded out and acceptable...

I think it looks good for a 25 dollar paint job :Hillbill:
Then i noticed my buddie had a couple of ramps sittin by the garage
So i decided to be a poser haha

And then i decided to go to a friend of mine to get a sticker designed
Swimmerboy will love this one.

Thats all of my pictures for now, Soon i will be sanding down the cab, front fenders, tailgate, and hood to continue on with my "Cheap, Broke, Pocket change, Duplicolor Paint job"

PS. Here's a teaser

Haha i love the yellow on green.
My problem is, around here i have a lot of people who see something and want to copy it.
So when i got my truck with the camo TRD, it started popping up EVERYWHERE...
Then i put Tonka Toy on the front, since then ive seen a Dodge Ram that had it on the back glass and a Nissan frontier on the windshield!
Not to mention the Toyota i saw the other day with "Tonka" on the tailgate.
So thats why i decided on yellow, and putting Hilux in there, i wanted to be original.
But like i always say "If you want to be original, Plan to be copied!"

GREAT!!!!
I pulled in the driveway last night and usually when you pull the E-brake it come's out with some resistance about 6-8 inches...
When i pulled it, it had some resistance the first couple inches, then i heard something pop and it extended out all the way with ease...
Im not a happy camper right now.
And its supposed to be raining for the next week here...Therefor i can not crawl under the truck to look and see what happened where
Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have a driveway and creeper? Maybe you wouldn't get as wet that way, being under the rig and all and cuz you got that SKYSCRATCHING lift! ONLY IF, of course, you 'have to get it fixed, NOWWWWW!' kinda thing, lol. I had to pull a rotor on a truck in the rain in the Sierras one time(POURING! LOL)... LUCKILY, I over pack for camping, and I had a HUGE tarp that I anchored to the ground and it kept me really, pretty dry. NOT COMPLETELY, lol.. but yeah, pretty much.

Sorry to hear, man.... Wish I could drop by and help out.... DANG DISTANCE! LOL.

Same thing happened to my truck. On mine, the brake cable snapped right at the firewall. Just have to get a new cable. Kind of a pain cause u have to take the whole parking brake assembly out to replace it, or at least i did...

You know...I completely forgot but i do have a creeper that is old as dirt that my grandaddy had...
I might crawl up under tonight and see whats going on!
I wish you were closer! There's a lot on this truck i wish i had help on.
And honestly, there aren't many actual Toyota "Rigs" Around my area. 4 or 5 here or there but not many.

I'm betting your ebrake cable either snapped or came loose somewhere. It's a real easy fix if it just came unclipped. Take a look under the truck and see if its hanging somewhere.

It was pretty easy to get the cable, the parts store had to order it in but it was there by the end of the day. I believe it was a Dorman, I included a link to the site with part numbers...I had to replace the front cable but theres a couple rear cable too i believe. You'll have to check them and see if anything broke. It might take more than an hour, especially if you haven't done it before. But its not too difficult once you get it torn apart.

I guess until i get it fixed, my E-brake will be 1st gear!

sure man

Mine broke inside the truck, right where it goes through the firewall. If you get under there you can see where the cable hooks into the assembly that you pull to set the brake. It may be a common wear point, but I'm not sure...its a place to start though.

Yeah i just used 1st for a while haha
