Haha it def doesn't happen on a windy day.

And i cant run much faster then that with the tires i have now.
But it feels like the whole truck is going to come apart.

These tires are internally balanced with Dynabeads but i dont think they added enough because it rides so freakin rough. Ive got to figure out whats goin on...

A friend of mine just offered me 600 dollars and he would give me his 33 950 swampers, and he would mount them for me for my swampers...Im thinking deal? Haha

Haha i could do the same with my 33x12.50's but not anymore..

Alright...I just got done ordering $245.55 worth of inner tie rods, outer tie rods, tie rod sleeves, Pitman arm, and Idler arm.

Tie rods and idler arm should be here friday-monday.

Hopefully this will help with this death wobble ive got going on.

I will be replacing the wheel bearings in the front and adjusting the valve lash. (probably saturday.)
Any tips on replacing wheel bearings?

Don't use a screwdriver and hammer to take the hub nut out, ya get metal shavings in ur grease. Check your spindle for any wear or damage once you get it all torn down. Keep everything clean and pack the bearings good. Other than that its pretty straight forward and relativley easy.

My buddy had the same wobble thing going on with his jeep, his two front tires were getting a little worn. Tried getting them balanced but nothing helped, he ended up having to buy two new tires and his problem was fixed. He was running all-terrains though, a little different tire...

Isn't there some kind of socket i can buy from autozone for the hub nut?

In the following picture, what is the part i am pointing at? Choke?
Its causing my idle to instead of drop immidetly after pressing the gas,
Drop VERY slowly and get stuck around 1800 rpms for a while until the fuel cuts and it drops to 750...

I tore down into the truck with the intentions of adjusting my valve lash, But everything was to spec. So i left them alone and reassembled everything and i noticed the front half moon on the valve cover was knawed up on the inside and looks like thats where my vaccume leak is coming from. I turned the bad side out, so we'll see if it continues to leak.

"Add" I can also rev the engine by hand with the throttle and as soon as i let go put pressure back on the...Choke?...And the idle will drop back down to factory...

Hey buddy, ...that's the "Dashpot", it's supposed to slow down the deceleration to prevent the throttle body from slamming shut. If it's stuck, try silicone lubricant in the plunger and clean out the filter.

Far as the half moon, ......checking to see,.... Did you put sealer under it and on the corners when putting it back together? They are notorious for leaking there, if you forget the sealer in those places. I have two new half moons if you need em, ...you're welcome to em, lemme know. Don't think you can get them seperate.

Yes, you can seal them IN the half moon(LIGHT layer on the rubber job itself underneath) and on the 'corners', or, where the surface meets the head tops surface, ya know? Lil bead on each side of the half moon where it meets the head.

Well dang, I never knew that. Even the shop that I took the truck to to have the timing chain gasket replaced didn't put any sealant on the half moons upon re-assembling. But if it doesn't seal this time ill make sure to do that. you da man chef.

I've done it for the last 2 vehicles, when changing VC gaskets, etc., ....and NEVER had a leak, since. Usually, it leaks from the corners before the underside.

Best of luck, Bo! Sounds like it's coming along!
