Is it safe to assume these will work for 3rd gen pickup leaf packs also? Any articulation pics? Do you expect any settling? When will these be available for the rest of us to purchase?

Good job Nate! Love your style man, Deaver makes great products, Jeff is a very knowledgeable guy. This looks like a perfect addition to my 4-runner build. (well when I get my new motor in)
Good job man, very cool. Great addition to your LT kit too!

Stock as possible,
The MiniPack is available now for trucks and 4 Runners years 1984-1988 for sure, my friend Todd is picking up a set for his 1988 4 Runner next week. I'm sure Jeff would be able to build the other years too, it just might take some design work. Give Deaver a call, mention Blazeland and Yotatech! If you need someone to pick-up a core set of leafs and do the legwork to design for your particular year contact me offline. I am 20 miles from Deaver. I'll get some articulation pics and specs when I get back from King Of The Hammers the week after next. I am taking the Fordota to this event (just as a spectator).
Rob2theC,
Thanks for the complements. Yea Jeff is well known, as is Deaver, so I feel privileged to have him hook up Blazeland. The MiniPack is a nice option!

Here is a before photo, and its the same stance now! 3" of lift then, 3" of lift now! No sense of taking another photo. Before it was on 2" blocks and the add-a-leafs. Now its on a progressive rate springs. The MiniPack gives about 2" of lift and the longer shackle that about 1". The difference is the progressive spring rate and the added wheel travel. The ride quality is drastically improved!

Hey Todd, I wasn't able to pickup the springs today sorry! If Deaver is open Saturday you or I can pick them up. Otherwise I can pick them up on Monday. If James is down we could do an evening install next week.

Ok, so about those extended length shackles, here is the write up:
First obtain a 2" wide x 1/4" thick bar of Cold Rolled Steel about 30" long. Cold rolled steel is a high quality material and excellent choice for machining. It has a greater ability to withstand bending than Hot Rolled steel. Cut it into (4) sections. I wanted my shackle to be 1-5/8" longer than stock so I cut it into (4) 6-5/8" lengths. Oh heck..... see attached CADD drawing plans.

Once the plates have been machined or drilled in a drill press you need to transfer the bolts out of a donor pair of stock shackles.

Well there you have it! Now you can use the factory spec bushings either in rubber or poly! And when you tighten the shackles because of the shoulder in the bolts it wont crush the bushings onto the spring eyes; a propper preloaded bushing! This design also will suport better lateral loads. And last but not least you can make custom lenghts to dial in your lift. I wouldn't go anylonger than 2" over stock unless you welded some additional support to the sides. Time for a beer at the pub. Sweet its Friday!

Sure, I have a few side shots........
This is the 4Runner with a 33x12.50R15 BFG MT on the SR-5 factory mags which are 15x7 with a 4.5" backspace.

Here are the same SR-5 rims but with 33x10.50R15 BFG ATs. The 7" rim and a deep backspace keep the track width manageable. These SR-5s rims are great, they are strong and are hubcentric. Fairly easy to restore. A light sandblast and a fresh powdercoat. Textured Black or Bangle silver turn out well. Contact Dan at High-Tech coatings in Santa Anna, he will hook you up for $35 each black and $45 each silver.
