Sounds good to me, man! I'm actually itching so bad to go that I might go sometime this week to the Angeles Crest for a day trip/creek polar bearing, etc. lol. I have a place that's quick to get to from the 110 and anywhere between me and the 2(110 to the 5 to the 2, up and over the mountain)... NICE and hot back there and clean creeks(not sure how much water right now, I'd have to call and hopefully find out from a buddy).... I would rather go during the week due to crowds up there, but doesn't really matter(according to the schedule of y'all is fine), lol. I'll pop the top off and head up there for sure, soon! I NEED IT! lol. Problem for me is getting someone to cover me... but I don't usually have a problem with that any more(found someone that's available pretty much any time... Just not free! lol)

Sure thang... could bring some grub and make a day of it

I'm not sure where you talking about. Ice never been to that place to off road. Honestly the only place I know of to off road that is a short drive from here is that cheap mud pit in azusa. But I've normally gone to Palm Springs desert and big bear to off road. You're gonna have to show me all the nice local places man.

WOOT! lol... Sounds like a Grill out, fo sho! lol. Usually, on day trips, I end up bringing stuff I've mostly prepped the day before(Marinated Quarter legs of chicken, Corn Cobs, tater salad and A "Green Salad from Heaven" that I make! lol) Course, burgers and 1/4# Beef Dogs would be fine, too! lol.

yeah, I was just gonna say, "I don't think that would stop most Yota-dudes from just getting up there. Don't have to really 'CRAZY WHEEL' or anything. Heck, I just like being up there to soak up some rays and COOOOOOOOLD h2O! lol. 90*F or so up there yesterday! WOOT!(Yep, hot is fine.... as long as there's WATERRRRRRRRR! HAHAHA)

Heck, if you guys ever wanna follow me up on one of my trips through the Sierras, I'm TOTALLY fine with that! Hit the hot springs, etc. I am DEFINITELY hitting it this year, at least 2 times... One time for the Kern and Sequoias, ....Another for the Sierras. It's NIGHT AND DAY from the Angeles Crest, ...BUT, the Angeles is around 1.5 hour drive from my door to the campsite/shade/tables/fire pits/creek w/cold water! lol. So yeah, for day trips, etc., ... just point the way and tell me there's water...I'M IN! lol.

PS> Blake and maybe even Outsane are Desert Weather Acclimated! lol..... BUT, it is in the high 80's here in PV lately, pretty humid.... it's toasty, just not "IE or SD Desert Toasty!" lol. (Not saying you guys live in the desert in SD... just that Toro and Centro, and etc are HOT AS BOILED SUGAR compared to L.A. ,lol.)

Yeah, not sure I wanna go TOO hard core before I get the sliders... But hey, WHATEVER, lol. I can always carefully route around most places. Haven't been down there in a LONG time, Outsane... its' pretty hairy? Where is that place you went, Blake?

Yea dude I'm definitely up for it. Even if I just go with my truck stock. Lol I'm sure my 4x4 and current 31's can handle an easy trip. Just gotta get my Damn truck back from the mechanic and make it street legal with all that emissions stuff.
