im debating on whether i should take my steel bumper off or just leave it on. i want to get a new one eventually thats closer to the body because mine sticks out very far as you can see in the pics. does anyone still have the stock bumper on? i havent seen any that i can remember on here.

I found a bumper on craigslist and the guy says "will fit 1980 thru 1985 for sure and might even work for 1986 and 1987 truck"
so does anyone on here know if the front bumper brackets will be different? will it fit?

thats weird, 84-88 should be the same...and 79-83 are different from those. you should ask him what he had it on

I see gloves but no safety glasses/goggles:

you would be surprised out how much a sliver of cutoff wheel or metal hurts when in gets in your vision ball.

^ i second that. i had to go to the hospital once to get a metal sliver removed. needless to say i learned my lesson. now my left eye vision isnt 100% anymore

the doors are finished!

i just need to sand them down
we welded these hinges down because my release pin wouldnt go all the way down with the bolts in the hinges

i also made a battery tie down while i was at my uncles shop

just got a 8" bolt from lowes and used a scrap piece of metal..
