E-brake on and works very well.
a PITA but it was exactly as advertised. took some ingenuity, but we got it.
massive delay in that the passenger's side bell crank was not functioning...IT IS NOW!!
next up....exhaust.
oh wait.
next up......POOL!

so let me say.
if you ever have your motor out and you need to replace your forward e-brake cable......do it then.
not as bad a job as i thought....actually got it right the 1st time too (bonus!). bell crank was unfrozen with pb blaster, elbow grease and then loaded the boot with pb blaster

ummm....yes...kinda.
have to undo and then re-do the lateral exhaust pipe.
and as an added BONUS....the garage door is broken....broke a large spring. getting fixed tomorrow. there goes the extra $$$$$

tanx
well....took the clamp off the cross piece of the exhaust.......yup....cant move it (the pipes)....indent noted where the clamp was. permatex sealer applied liberally and clamp re-applied a bit closer to the end.....gonna let it sit overnight and see if it holds. feel like we're kinda out of options here except to weld if this doesn't hold.
have to move the 4runner in the morning to make room for the garage door repair guys.

sealant held.......maybe....i think.....i hope. may reinforce that area again.
3 smaller leaks noted elsewhere.
will probably put the sealant on them and torque the poop out of those connections.
otherwise, all is well.
waiting for the garage door repair people to call me, had to park the 4runner in the 3rd bay.......and as Brandon could attest to, that bay is kinda used like a shed with the bikes and tractor and stuff.....lotsa stuff.
really want this exhaust done and good to go and get this inspected. 2 or 3 car shows coming up very soon and really wanted to get this thing entered while it's still nice and clean.

all but 1 leak gone.
found a little water leak (knew it was there, didn't know from where) from a heater hose connection. the nub was mis-shapen and apparently that is causing an occasional drip. i can live with that for now.
awesome video uploading....see me in 117 minutes.

it wasn't you.
the nub was bent out of shape and I tried getting them perfectly round....but. But, I had told Joe if there was going to be a leak, it was going to be there. better there than one of the little buried hoses. I am going to throw a 2nd clamp on it closer to the firewall and see if that helps.

Just think if you have to replace that heater core, ya got to take out the dash to do it and you can also fix that air flow problem he has with the vents etc etc while your at it.
