and PROOF.....it's only mocked-up to make sure it fits. it IS upside-down.

debating whether or not to use a donut gasket as well as the flat one provided. we could debate about that tomorrow.

181 lbs takes alot of grunting to get it tight. Great job on that. Dont know why they have to be so tight. I had a 5 foot cheater pipe and still didnt have enough butt to break on loose. Sometimes just getting it on and off is an accomplishment.

Brandon....bring your timing light......

whatever time you want to come is fine. wife is off. I announced yesterday that THIS is what we were doing today.

cant get the alternator "just tight enough" feels like too much play in the belt. nothing really to wedge against, so I'm open to suggestions.

really up in the air about using a donut gasket on that catalytic connector.

near as I can remember, we have 3 pipes left to hook-up for the exhaust. each one may need a cut....nervous about that. really want your opinion on that. i do have an exhaust pipe cutting tool from a friend. we also have scrap that i can practice on.

want to get that exhaust all put together so we could lower the truck down. not cool with it so high in the air right now and my step i use, is being used as a wheel chock.

LIST:

have to put the throttle body back on the intake plenum,

need to torque about 3 bolts on the driver's side of the tranny.

driver's side spark plugs

torque crankshaft bolt

heater core hoses......and check all connections

injectors and fuel rail

remove 2 bolts from each valve cover and place on the supports for the wire harness

wrap wire harness with new tubing

intake plenum

vacuum hoses

throttle cable

spark plug wires

fan

radiator

add oil and water

charge battery

start it up

sooooooo....

a nut won't fit where it's supposed to on the O2 sensor bung. going to have to grind a nut down to see if we could get it to fit. not good.

Holy Crap, that's quite a list... hope Brandon got that! lol. Quite the good dude, is B!

Hey, .... by the way, .... KILL IT! lol. And seriously though.... JERRY, I sense you're a bit OCD like myself and, well, YOU'D RATHER HURT YOURSELF than give up! LOL. PLEASE, be careful with your hands, .... I actually got up today and both were really numb. Whenever I push it like I have been lately, that happens, ...and then, I wake up almost emotional, thinking, "HOLY CRAP, these things are my LIFE!" .... And then I think of the Surgery that my buddy had for Carpel Tunnel...... and he's STILL having issues. I'm nervous, and you'z a HEALIN MAN, ...so just be careful, K?

CONGRATZ, JERRY, JOE! Did I say, ....KILL IT? yes, do that, and then 'VROOM VROOM VROOM AND'A BOOM BOOM' next week, some time??????? Heck, MAYBE TOMORROW????
