No, didn't have to move it....it rides pretty good, definitely a bit more bumpy, but it's a truck, and I can live with how it drives on road cause offroad it is 100 times better.

Thanks! That's what I'm hoping!

Thanks man!

So I ran in to an interesting problem...the spring perches on my axle (which are stock spring perches) seem to be of some rare extra wide sort so the TG flip kit does not fit properly. I spoke with a tech from trail gear and sent him pictures and some measurements and he said that he has never even seen Toyota spring perches that are 3 inches wide....so for now I am going to continue using the stock ubolt kit and return the TG one and have something custom made, or make something myself in the future.

So basically just wanted to let people know that before they order a flip kit, go out and measure how wide your spring perches are, because if they are about 3 inches, it won't work.

Do you think you'll need to move the steering box forward sometime in the future?

Not planning on it right now....if I ever wanted to move the axle like 3 inches forward it would most likely have to be moved, but the steering is perfectly fine the way it is with the box in the stock location. I am planning on moving the axle an inch forward and don't anticipate any problems with the stock location.

I ended up not going with the free 36's...I got some 35" Pro Comp Mud Terrains...but so far it's not horrible, but I haven't been on a long free way drive yet...tomorrow I drive from Vegas to Irvine, CA...I have a feeling it's gunna be a slow trip haha I would definitely switch to 5.29's if I had the extra money layinhg around.

One of them is my spare now, and one is unusable due to a large sidewall puncture, so they are sitting in my garage taking up space, so they're probably going on Craigslist

Thanks man, I like the way it turned out, still waiting for the front to settle a bit though...I removed the third leaf spring of the front pack and moved the axle an inch forward so I'm liking the way it is sitting more but the front still needs to settle a bit. Unfortunately, I am open in the front for now...I am telling myself that I'm going to wait until I can afford an ARB for the front, but I may break down and throw an Aussie in the front sometime in the future.

the auto locker isn't so bad in the front with manual hubs... just a pain in the ass having to hop out, lock/unlock it.
