Hard to tell. Since I've gotten it rolling I've been having brake issues. First I was feeling a lot of drag as I drove. Ended up making my back brakes smoke. I had to put in a proportioning valve in the rear since i switched to disc brakes.
Once i fixed that the brake pressure is unstable. So i ordered a 2lb residual valve for the rear as well. I hope this will fix the problem, it seems it will from the research I've done.
Once i got the residual valve in i noticed a leak in my brand new steel braided brake line. LAME! So that should be here monday. hoping to get it all together monday night or tuesday.

Bumpers
I had a mean front main seal leak so i had to tear into it and fix it.
While I had the truck apart i did some long overdue rust maintenance, painting and some fabrication on my bumpers.
I modified the bumper a long time ago because i cut the bottom panel off of the truck bed so there would have been a gap. I did a bad just so i added some reinforcements after derusting.

I like those beadlock wheels...H1's? Looks like you don't have to worry about steep driveshaft angles with the portal axels! Just curious what made you change the front setup from having the shackles in the rear to having them up front? I've been doing some research and have been thinking about running the shackles up front if I do another sas, just looking for some more perspective on it, thanks, loving the build so far!

So the reason for changing the shackle to the front was because of the traction bar. Even with the traction bar having a shackle of its own, it will wants to rotate the axle clockwise(if looking at it from the passenger side wheel) or pinion up as the axle drops. The leaf springs with shackle in the rear wants to rotate the axle counter clockwise or pinion down as it drops. Effectively binding the suspension. With the shackle in the front, both traction bar and spring articulate in the same direction. Kinda hard to explain but hopefully I did it.
Can't wait to leave this area. Southern California just ain't for me lol.

Eventually i want to get a set of 40-42" tires. Probably superwamper sx. Not entirely sure yet. Still might keep the military 37s for road driving. But tire decisions are down the road a bit. First i need to get all the kinks out and perhaps the engine swap first. I just don't have enough money to do it all at once lol.

Didn't end up getting pics today but my new brake line came in today, PERFECT fit!! I guessed on the sizes of fitting and got it right so now ill buy some spares.
My back brakes still had some drag in them even tho my proportioning valve was closed all the way.
Its possible I had closed the valve with pressure in it?
My pushrod was too far out in my master cylinder, I adjusted it back in just a hair. Opened the bleeder valve on my back brakes just to release the existing pressure and boom! Brakes fixed! I was even able to start turning by proportioning valve knob to give myself more rear brakes. I will keep adjusting till perfect but the brakes are working great so far.
Now i just have to align the front end. Its got to be way off cause I'm all over the road. Ill do that tomorrow when i get another person to help me to measure. Ill get some pics tomorrow.
