Ed ill be there burning oil or not, guy at works gonna run a compression test to see if its rings, or valve seals

haha get my machine work done on my block and its all yours and update, motor is out and torn down, needs a rebuild again, rod bearings were about to go, headgasket was about to blow, and my pistons were really loose in the cylinders, gonna have it bored, crank polished, gonna build it the way i wanted it, not cutting any corners this time, did a compression test before rebuild and all cylinders were below 50 psi

yea, in a way kinda glad it did, building it how i want it, bored, cammed, head shaved, weber, header, dual row timing, dome top pistons, gonna be a hot little engine

head was shaved .014 last rebuild, might do a minor port and polish, mainly need this motor back together asap as i move in 2 weeks

On the new bed you are getting, I would suggest pulling the inner panels and cleaning the dirt and mud that builds up there, that is why they are always rusted in wheel well area. Those panels have such big gaps, anything that finds its way in there cant get out.

Hope the rebuild goes well for you.
