OOOH, calling Nate, are we? lol... Lot's get that itch..... not many end up scratching it, lol. I know you will if you set your mind to it.... You seem to be persevering! lol.

Hope you're enjoying being graduated

PS> MY buddy owns a Mercedes Dealership(Part of it) in CA, ... he said, "Mark, tell him to go into Mercedes Training... it's one of the best paid/best benefits mechanical career moves out there!"... lol.. Just passing the word along.. Maybe just look into it, not gonna tell you what you should or shouldn't do, lol... Have a good one, man.

Nice!... I need to go back (eventually) and do u bolt flips front and rear on mine. Can you take measurements off your existing factory plates and ubolts and use them to make your new plates?

heres some pics from saturday, never had a hood prop so i had these liftgate struts off my old plymouth colt vista that i scrapped and put them on this, they arent strong enough, it will hold if the pickup is completely still but if you bump it they fall (now aint that safe ) also installed a new tensioner pulley i had layin around.

and here is the reason i havent been getting much work done on the yota, helped a freind with his 76 ford shortbox, swapped cabs, primed, body work, painted. was originally a 300 I6 and a 3 on the tree, he swapped in a 302 and 4spd, really sweet pickup, gonna be completely done tomorrow, just gotta finish the doors, install them, put the new grill on, and hook up the clutch.

FREAKIN LOVE those year fords! I would LOVE to find a 74-5-6(those years) 4WD Ford PU with sliding frame rails for camper and 460 Motor! Heck, even a 351! lol. Love the late 60's and thru most of 70's Bronco's, too.

The 74-76 Ford is one of my favorite trucks. I like the 78-79 but not the square headlights. Post some pics when done. Looks great.

Since you have a friend willing to help you on your yotas paint, that is always a good oppurtunity to learn something else. You might like it.

Ok, .... I'm leaving now, and he's gonna teach me, right? hahahaha.

That's great, man! Seriously... GREAT skill to have, so grab every tip from him you can, ya know? (Masking/corners/indentations, etc.
