no!

do not "upgrade" the fuse. the fuse is there to protect the wiring. if you add a bigger fuse, you could end up with a serious problem. the components that use that 80 amps will not draw more than that, so there is no need for a bigger fuse!!!

if you add something like a winch and lights directly to the battery/alternator, then you use the appropriate sized fuse (ex- 10 amp lights, put in a 15 amp fuse, 180 amp winch, 200 amp fuse, etc)

just watchin' out for the fellow yotas. i used to think that the fuse was in there to protect the device, but in school i learned that it's the wires that need protecting. if the wire is meant to handle 90 amperes max, and there's a 100 ampere fuse in there, the wire will burn up before the fuse blows. no bueno

(also, this comes from personal experience )

That IS, actually, fully covered in my build thread. The instructions are in the FSM as well. I think I even did a video of it. I'll try to peep it out for ya and give you a permalink, k?

PS> Never did post my video to Youtube... will have to be tomorrow or something. It explains how to pull and replace the gearbox, which one to get, what type of fluid, how to FLUSH and bleed(VERY in depth process to all of it, but not too difficult... Just need to follow the instructions, ya know?)

It came with a 94 trans in it not to crazy bout that and a good bit is Jerry rigged but I payed 1,000 for it,2 extra doors, a 15" kicker competition sub, 2amps, a ken wood cd player and an extra 86 trans Really anxious to start fixing all the rig up crap but don't know how to work on yotas
