2.) Best wishes on the hunt for the Denso Alt.... You'll find one. Maybe throw in an MR2 alternator as an upgrade? (they're 90A I believe...???)
Right on, regarding the "can't afford it" part... I FEEL YA! You'll find one, bud... keep at it

auto parts stores will test it for free (pep-boys, autozone, advance a/p, etc)
there are 3 wires that go to the alternator (not including the main power)
-sense
-ignition
-indicator light

havent done anything to the yota since sunday, organized my parts and cleaned up my tool box and thats about it. got some pics of what i did on sunday tho, also forgot to mention that the guy i got the hubs from also gave me a set of rancho shocks for the front, so ill keep those around till the ones i just put on wear out. also last pic os of the alternator in the pickup.

Yeah, that's gonna wear on the bearings of whatever alternator that's riding like that, I would think. Anyway, I hear ya as to why.... But I wonder if it's just a quick fix according to instructions by Ian(Irab)???
Wait,
Just to be clear;
The alternator in there, right now, is parallel with the frame, front to back, but it's too 'deep'/or/'short' so it's making the belt at an angle? ........Or the whole alternator is at like 3degrees angle from parallel?
