Meh, ....I'd wait til they tell ya to... i'm not saying they will... just a 'friendly heads up', ya know?

Far as the 86 22R being the same......no idea. I would imagine it is, largely so, ya know? Brandon(XXXtreme) has an 87 22R.... He might know the answer.... Can't say he'll be by here, but other people would have to know, right? lol.

the spare tire tool looks like a "?" at the end of a long rod. you cold make one out of scrap material and make a few bends

Which end of the alternator plug do you need? If you just need the wire plug let me know, as I have an 85 alternator wire plug laying around. I think the 87 and 85 are diffence not sure on the 86.

Take a picture of the end that you need to plug into and post it, so I can compare it with what I have...

Oh, ok I got that plug, but the plug from my 87 is not the same as my 85, so when I put in the 85 22r I had to use the alternator wire plug from the 87 into the 87 harnes. I got the plug from the 85 if you need it. I'll take a picture of it.

Not a problem, I could send both end, one end complete to the Toyota alternator and the other to the main harness, this way they would plug into each other

well i forgot to inform you guys about last weekends happenings and why no work was done last weekend. on friday my buddy rolled his dads 89 comin back from work, flipped it twice and walked away with a cracked shoulder and a concussion, got really lucky considering the seatbelt broke in the rollover. this truck was MINT 300k on the clock. so if anyone in oregon has a 3rd gen standard cab for sale let me know.

before

after
