Jon, if you need a hand with that tire carrier hinge, give me a call. I'll be around all weekend working on stuff, so I have some time to weld it back or redesign it for you.

Dude, thanks for the offer, I'm still trying to put it on, Just not a lot of day light in the day... I'm planing on putting it on Sunday and get pics up same day. I'm going to take you up on that offer on the rear bumper. That reminds me, I have the cost of the rebuild kit on my desk. I'll call you monday with that.

Thanks, stay tuned, there is more to come, I need to load the pictures of the interior finished up, picts of the swap, and my new front bumper. The bumper is from Scott at Addicted Off road. It is hella sweet.

I'm glad to, I'm so glad that I got the 85. Like I have said, it is a project. I'm glad that I was able to swap almost all of the stuff over.

wow. I know the trouble you are going through. Except yours is on a bigger scale. Great looking runner and awesome that you found a donor with a SFA. Nice, keep it up, can't wait to see the finished product.

As requested, here are some pics of the front bumper that was made by ScottyC at Addicted Off Road made. http://www.addictedoffroad.com I love this bumper!!!! It is a well built bumper. I strongly recommend this bumper. Scott is a great fabricator. Here are the pics.

He also included a set of LED turn signals!!! With the bumper he also drilled in holes for a winch. There is also a 2 inch receiver in the bumper. It is a great bumper.

I also went ahead and got a Smittybuilt XRC8 winch. From what I have found on-line, there was not a ton on info on it, so this summer, I'm going to put it up to the test. Here are a couple more pictures of the bumper.

Also, I got the CB hooked up. The next post, I'll post up some pics of the interior. Here is where is where is got it hooked up on the rear bumper.

On the next episode of this old truck, we will show pictures of the interior installed.

I think i saw your rig a while back in longmont. Were were getting ready to go wheeling and i could of swore that you were driving through target/home depot dragging a trailer. We were at the diamond shamrock on hover.

Yep that was me, I had to go to Colorado Springs to get a motorcycle for one of my buds. I saw you all and wanted to stop but the Home Depot was calling for straps... If I didn't have the trailer I'd so go up.

hey so now that you have to run wheel spacers up front, why not use the IFS rear axle for a little more width out back. should match the front no?

Well, I have done a bunch to the truck since I last posted about it.

Speaking of the wider axle, I have done a major upgrade to the rear axle. I have install a rear axle out of a 2000 Taco with the e-locker. I was worried that the axle spring perch on the Taco axle was going to be too far apart. Well, after the measurement of the rear axle. I found out that the rear axle was only just an 1/8 of an inch off.

I ordered the u-bolt flip kit from All-Pro Off Road and the e-locker harness from Off Road Solutions. The locker works great. However, the axle that I received, all of the hardware for the parking brake is on the wrong side of the axle. I'll get some photos for you all soon on the rear axle.

I'll also post some pictures of the finished interior!!!!

Can't you just pull both shafts and swap sides to get them on the right side?
