Another Update, coming along.............

Steering wheel installed, now I can turn the wheels with a steering wheel instead of pushing and pulling on the tires

Radiator installed, hoses attached along with overflow tank, windshield washer tank

Brake and clutch master cylinders, brake booster hose, brake line, throttle cable, speedometer cable, parking brake cable, windshield wiper motor and linkage and the coolant control valve.

Wiring harness inside the engine compartment, alternator, regulator, coil, distributor wires, and all other wires on the drivers side.

Roll bar with light bar and wired inside the roll bar, no exposed wiring coming down into the bed.

Inside dash, heater box, all vent piping, wiring harness brake, clutch and gas pedals.
Pretty good couple of days
Tomorrow I think will be a day of RR, predicted high is 29 degrees. I'll do some research
Hope you like the progress, please comment
Cheers
Hump
Mike

Your truck is looking great!

The lift must make it easy to put the cab back on!

Hey Jake
Thanks
Yeah, the lift is awesome. One of the best things I did. I don't have a lot of people that can just stop what they're doing and run over to help. I put the cab on the lift, raised it up and had 1 friend come over to help me lower it on the frame. I just really needed help pushing the truck under the lift. The best part was he bought his 2 sons over, one's 3 Hudson, and stetson who's 8 mouths old, Hudson is my little pal.
Having a lift is a life saver, I hope jakee poo is watching, he loves my lift, and my garage...................

Hi all
Just a verbal update today
Just finished putting in all the brake lines, because of the lift I ended up doing a trick I found online by willie pete. I took a front brake line hose and attached a rear brake line hose to it to make it longer. I did that on both sides in the front, and then in the rear I took 2 rear brake line hoses and connected them together to get the double length needed for my lift. Worked out great, I just had to open up the brackets so I could connect the hoses. This was a lot cheaper then getting steel braided hoses $$$. I then bleed the lines, I used the motive power bleeder cause I'm doing it by myself. Works great! Put it on the master cylinder, pumped it up and was able do bleed all the lines. All the lines were all bone dry and this thing worked great in pushing the new fluid through. It ended up taking all of my 32 oz bottle of dot 3.
I also did the clutch lines, new master, and slave and hose on that as well.
Then I added my fuel lines, that was a pain, I should have attached them when the cab was off but managed to snake them into place and get them connect to the gas tank and the carb. I am going to move the vent line to a breather inside of the gas filler cap area, much cleaner then when I had the charcoal filter on there which I removed during the desmog process.
So, I've got the brakes done, the clutch done, the fuel done, and all the coolant hoses done.
Now, back to electrical work. RAD4Runner and his wife stopped by last week to say hello and to give me some pointers on my wiring, (I'm not good with wiring) on his way up to go camping. Thanks Ray!
I will also be working on completing putting my dash together since I finished the heater core debacle.
Latter

Update
Well, it's snowing outside and around 20 degrees so I decided to bring my front doors in the house and put them together. I bought all the parts in yesterday so I could assemble them in the comfort of my warm house.
All back together with new rubber seals

So made the best of an otherwise useless day
Hump
PS. Anybody have any links where to buy some new door panels? I've looked but couldn't find any place
Thanks

Great seeing you and the beautiful truck!
Yeah, cold. Last Friday our camp at BLM land (37.227301, -113.115951) was wide open with a view of Zion mountains. It was warmer than the rest of our trip up north. But got windy and the colder weather blew in. Next day in Zion Canyon was cold and drizzly.

Consider making them using old ones as template? I replaced my rotten driver's side with foamboard wrapped with vinyl, and simply refreshed the passenger side with vinyl wrap. Also replaced hidden fasteners with panel trim screws and expansion nuts. (here)
