Two things happened here. It was taken to the Linex shop and the outside was given some linex along with the floors inside, roll bar, and inside top of the canopy.
Also had thrown some fender flares on after as well to help keep it a little more street legal for future plans

Well.... Those are all of the pics that I have of progress that are uploaded online. I'll try and get more of the project uploaded to photobucket before too long. Let me know if anyone has questions about anything. It is all relatively straight forward, just a matter of putting work in.

I believe the header is the doug thorley tri-y. It has been a little over a year since I installed the header (brother actually did it while I was working one day, nice guy).
The flare are bushwacker's cutouts. They are really there to cover up the tires that will be put on it (already have them on, but with respect to this build thread they aren't yet)
Thanks for the compliment, it has been a hell of a lot of work taking this thing from complete stockness to where it sits in my driveway now.

Thanks, I got it b/c they are the perfect happy medium between ability, passenger capacity, and storage space. As you can see from my first couple posts, I had a couple xtra cabs first.

So... The truck has more done to is than you see in the thread so far. I am catching the thread up. The truck is lifted and has larger tires (won't disclose any details yet, ha ha). Anyways, I got pulled over tonight on the way back from a movie. I've been trying to put some miles on it to work out any issues that it may have from the work I have done to it (you haven't seen a lot of it yet). He pulled me over for no freaking mud flaps!! Are you kidding me.
Long story short, I told him I was making a set of mud flaps and that I was just test driving it around town (small town) to see if anything needed immediate attention. I also stated that I had the giant mud flap in the back that I was going to use, he looked and saw it and said, "It looks like you know what you need to do." So he let me off with a warning after he ran my papers, which I had, luckily, just cleaned out my entire truck (hours before this happened) and found my registration and insurance papers in the back with several outdated ones and relocated them in my glove back for easy finding in case i did get pulled over.
After he got done telling me that he was going to let me off with a warning, he started to ask me questions about the truck. He was interested in knowing more about, if I had done all the work, if it had lockers, what engine, the linex job, if it would go highway speeds, etc..... So we sat there for about 5 minutes and talked about the truck.
That's my excitement for the day.

I have just pulled the w56 in the truck for a rebuild. I have the kit from marlin and have the tranny somewhat apart. I will try and get a few pics tomorrow. Here is my tranny rebuild thread that you can follow religiously. I will likely only post up a photo here and there on the rebuild in this thread and use the other one as a "tutorial" assuming that I fully succeed with the rebuild.
If anyone knows of a good guide out there (looked and didn't see one), then please do let me know. I'm sure it would help out quite a bit.
