griesburger's 84 4runner build

picked this up last week. i didnt make this build but i will be adding onto it

1984 4runner
-63" chevy rears
-rears up front
-'95 rear end
-welded rear gears
-lockrite in the front
-custom built front bumper, rear bumper, and rock sliders
-custom full roll cage
-custom short top
-hi steer
-5 speed
-racing seats (2 in front one, 1 rear)
-aftermarket entire front end
-dual transfer cases (LOVE IT, if you think you want to do it just do!!!)
-3" lift in the front to level it off after leaf conversion
-9000# superwinch
-38" tsl super swampers (howl like no other down the road)

also forgot to add the custom ford front shock towers in the front

Man thats a cool runner. Im liking the front bumper.

I am also curious how you like the RUF. I have considered this but very unsure.

LOVE it
havent done much wheelin yet but out of all the yotas i've been in this is the softest and smoothest.

it will be a lot of work but WELL worth it. makes the suspension super soft, smooth, and it flexes like no other. put a hi lift on the middle of my rock sliders and jacked her up 8 inches before the wheels left the ground. it was pretty crazy. the p.o. had some pictures on his facebook of it flexing. i can try to find them.

but if you are on the fence about the ruf just do it, will not disappoint

Are you running stock shafts? I dont dare lock my hubs with my 37's on. Anytime i wanna play i have to borrow my old 33's from my buddy.

fronts are aftermarket and i believe rears are just the stock ones for '95

yota axles are stronger than you would think

not to mention my front is locked and my rear is welded. i didnt break a thing
p.o. did mess up the burfields up front and thats why its all aftermarket now
