84 4x4 Chinook -yea...another one
So here it goes. I've been poking around the forums for a while now, my daily is an 87 4runner.
Got a great deal on a '75 chinook and found a 84 4x4 longbed for a steal, soo here it goes.
Plan is to go EFI in the 84. It has a 22r with a blown head gasket in it now and it came with a spare 22r with around 120k on it. (I.E. if you need 1-2 22Rs let me know, my post count isn't high enough yet to drop them on the classifieds haha)
Anyways, figured I'd make it official.

Thanks!!
I was searching for a 1st gen runner for years. When I was living out in Bend, Oregon a buddy I met out there had this one. He found it in Reno, NV. Bought it from the original owner, an elderly lady that still had the original window sticker from the dealership! When we went to sell it to get a full size pickup, he gave it to me for a steal!
As for the Chinook, the fiberglass section is flawless(from what I can tell before ripping it apart!) The truck itself has some rot in the front wheel wells, but nothing to bad. After sitting for 2 years it fired right up! I think the plan for the truck section of it is to mount some boat rollers to the frame once the camper is off of it and turn it into a ridiculous boat trailer/truck haha.
I think I secured an '88 22re parts truck for the motor swap, so as soon as I get back to VT the build will start. More updates to come
