stevo970's 1982 pick up thread
well this is the beginning of a long build, not because im going all out lifting and bobbing the crap out of it but because im putting a 1989 22re into my 82. and im not a very experienced mechaninc. i wrecked my 89 and i just traded my 91 2wd 4runner for this 82 with no motor. haha. the truck besides sitting for so long is in awsome shape the original owner took great care of this truck. and the 4runner no so great.. so i just got the 82 today and plan on starting the tear out of the 22re. im kinda nervous about the wiring so if anyone has any tips feel free to throw them out, i could use them. i havn't seen many threads on this so im hoping my experiences will help some one out in the future. will post pics and updates soon

i sent you the efi swap link--hopefully it works out for you.
not sure what you did on your pics but they should come out larger:
just copy and paste the into your post that you find at the bottom of the pic and it should come out pic like these..
that is wierd..I tried to fix your pics but some come up big and some are small

Your '82 build
Gotta love that old iron! I've got 2 1982s. One runs and the other will when I get to it. If you need some parts I may be able to help you out.

so its been a slow start. my step dad is helping me but he had to go out of town for work.. he will be back monday so hopefully we will tear the motor out then.
so hears the update i have the dash completely torn apart in the doner truck so all have to do is unplug it havnt done so because when the help gets back i'll need to move the truck, but yea all the clips are undone and it will be ready when he gets back. i would have pictures but my computer wont read the memory card for some reason. but o well will have more pics soon hopefully
