Sounds great. I know that is one of the big high lites in a build taking it for a spin and knowing it was because of your own hands. Great job. I might be seeking your advice on 22r stuff shortly. Great job again!!!

Terry I do have front and rear axles out of my old 84 runner I have the trans and t case too but they both have had water down in them from setting out side uncovered. the t case is cracked I think it froze and busted.

Thanks 87twentytwo

I had to down size my primary jet back to factory yesterday, I made three trips to town 7 miles one way, of course I hot rodded a lil but not to bad and I kept it about 60 mph it used 20 bucks worth of 92 octane which equals about 10 miles per gallon!!!!!!! I hope downsizing from the 122 jet to a 108 will improve that.

And now I have a charge light blinking at me!

Oh and check out my picture gallary I got a bunch of pics loaded up...

Just got done checking out your picture gallery. May try talking you into making some more home brewplates.lol.. Once I get my 86 truck running and legal, and you are up in Springfield sometime, might try talking you into showing me what all extra things can be removed. I am comfy in the 22re world, not so much in the 22r world.

Now I need to find a used transmission or a rebuild kit for my G52, I dont need a real strong trans. .I figure I can find a used one cheaper than the rebuild kit cost. I have to rebuild mine it sat out side and got full of water Im gonna start the tear down this week and see for sure.

Got my other camper shell home this weekend now I dont know what one to use they are both for short beds.....I am gonna bob my bed to match but there is a 1/2" difference between them....bummer...this one is cool it has a screen door and the whole back lifts up.. But I have to ditch my tailgate....the fiberglass one I picked up from Terry is a snug top and it dont have a front glass it just has this big rubber gasket that seals it to the back of the cab...

Here is what I am thinking bob the bed to fit the fiberglass shell its 1/2" longer than the metal one. the metal one will have to be fabbed to fit the tailgate hole any ways I need to take 1/2" off the width of the tail gate to fit my bed.

I will use the fiberglass one everyday duties and when I want to go camping I can take the fiberglass one and tailgate off and install the aluminum one to sleep in 75.5" long and I am 6'3" so it will be a tight fit! but still better than sleeping in the cab...LOL

You going to try and rebuild your tranny? The parts truck I got has a bad one in it and I am going to try and follow the FSM and see what kind of results/damage I can do.

Your truck is coimg along. I understand therer is a salvage in Republic just outside of Springfield that has alot of Toyotas. I think it is B n B imports. Havent checked it out yet. Maybe you might get a chance when seeing the inlaws. I will try and get up there in a month or so.
