Got quite a bit done this weekend. Was able to get the motor out of the old frame and in to the new one. Cleaned it up a little bit too. Also got the rear leaf springs, axle and shocks in. Got the disc brakes and calipers on along with all of the rear brake lines. It's starting to kinda look like something!

Just a little update. Should be getting the cab back soon from paint and body work. Once I get that back I will be posting a lot more but for now here's some things I have done in the mean time. I did get different seats that will be going in, they are out of a Honda Prelude (posted them earlier in the thread) really nice seats but went ahead and got some really nice neoprene seat covers made specifically for them. Not only will they protect the seats but they are water proof and also since I got them in grey and black they will go with the interior of the truck.
Also I am changing all of my front marker lights and the entire tail light assembly to led lights. I don't have a picture of the front marker lights done yet but there will be two amber led pods in the front. One will be a marker light the other will be a turn signal. For the rear I am doing a single amber pod for the turn signal, white pod for reverse light and red pod for marker light. But also installed 2 more red led pods for brake lights. Turned out to be an extremely clean setup and looks great. When the lenses are on you aren't able to see the pods at all. They are really bright and I will no longer run into any problems with the sockets having corrosion and not working. Kinda hard to see in the pictures but they do make a big difference. The maker light and reverse light are the only things on in the picture just so you kinda have an idea of what they will look like.

Great build. Wish I had waited to read it till it was done. I'm ready to see the finished product!!! And SOOO jealous of the bed on her. Everything we have around her is rusted pretty bad.
Looking in to LED's for mine for the longevity and extra light output, especially the back up lights as I have a tendency to back into stuff! Could you show a pic of the setup behind the lens?
It looks like your sticking with your same suspension setup so I assume your pleased with the ride and what not?

I am keeping a lot of things the same on the truck. I like the suspension setup. It's a pretty smooth ride. The biggest things I have changed are the rear axle which is an IFS rear axle, the disc brakes in the rear, and transfer case brake.

Here are some pictures for anyone that is interested in the LED setup.
I am using LED pods that are used as clearance lights or marker lights on commercial vehicles.
The front bezel will have two amber LED'S. The top will be a marker light and the bottom will be the turn signal.
The tail light will have one amber (turn signal), one white (reverse), one red (marker light) and two red (brake light). The two pods I am pointing at in the picture are the brake lights. I also posted more pictures of them on to give a better idea of the light they put out.

Got the tail lights all wired up. Got a couple connectors to wire in so now if one ever goes out I will be able to just unplug it, pop the light out and replace it. Also for anyone interested in the LED setup, make sure when you cut the old lights out, to leave just a little bit of metal on the back so that the grommets will fit snug. If you don't you will have to silicone them in.
