1983 toyota sr5 4x4
I just purchased a 1983 Toyota 4x4 with a broke crank. So bought a rebuild motor bored 20 over. Got new radiator, water pump, plugs, distributer, starter, hoses, wires, clutch and pressure plate. Truck was a stock (besides rims and tires) one owner truck with every option besides moon roof, 170000 miles. Not all rusted out and hasn't been dogged is the real reason I got it. The only rust is on the front fender( in pic three ) also 6 inch scratch on hood ( in pic 4 ).
parts list $$$$
Smittybuilt high back buckets
roll bar with lights
4.88 axle gears
Going to put a 3 inch lift 33/14.50/r15 on aluminum 15x10s.
header and series 50 flowmaster
deeper oil pan
valve cover
probably going to get a bigger cam down the road.
and finally going to het a cr250 2 stroke to haul around with my kdx220 2 stroke
this is my first Toyota I usually wouldn't have anything other than a chevy truck but those big v8s eat my money and these first gens are just so sexyyy

That is a great looking truck, so hard to find anymore. I was a die hard domestic car guy and got hooked on these Toyotas. I think you will like what your truck will offer in time. Welcome to Yotatech.
