If you found one for $145 then I think its better to buy it there? The wrap on the battery is still there. Sorry this is as far as I can go. The retail to this battery is worth 244.00, ebay is around 170 to 180 w/ 40.00 to ship.

They sell for $180 off the shelf at most places, probably cheaper at the interstate warehouse. I don't think you got a very good deal on yours....

the more expensive battery is higher CCA (Cold cranking Amps) Which means, basically, its a better battery.

YES you can find them cheaper. But they are lesser quality batteries. All optimas are NOT created equal. there are several different types and sizes.

Check optimabatteries.com for specs and such.

 

btw most commonly sold battery is the 34-78, which is only 750 CCA. they make up to a 900 CCA yellow top. they also make a 35-78 which is only 650 CCA.
