Selling the Deathrunner

Selling the Deathrunner
Well, I'm pretty bummed, but I gotta do it.
I'm selling the Deathrunner. I've had a lot of great times with it, but making house payments is getting tight. I could use teh cash and don't really have the time to get out and wheel anymore.
I just had the motor rebuilt with less than 3k on it. I figure now is probably the best time to sell it anyway, it runs like new.
It's an amazing truck. It handled the rough desert terrain well, it always surprised me on rocky trails, and was a pure joy to camp in.
I have put a lot of money into making it what it is....a one of a kind 4runner.
I'm asking $14,000.00 or best offer. I have receipts for everything, and believe me it totals up to much more than my asking price.
I have a list of all the features and a bunch of photos at:

Thanks for looking.
Oh yeah, I didn't mention it on the webpage, but I have a bikini top that will be included as well.

Seth,
All I can say is WOW, very unexpected. I've followed and drooled over your build for a couple years now.
Good luck and I hope it works out so you can keep it. If not I'm buying a lotto ticket tomorrow!

Marc told me about this tonight while the kids were playing. Man Seth I know this must be eating you up brother. It is kinda like the Millenium Falcon and Han Solo. Okay maybe not just like that but.... you know what I mean.
So what if you went through a 'I want to look just like Chewbaca' phase! You are still deathrunners Han Solo man.
Okay I will be serious now. If there are any perspective buyers out there for this rig, it has been wheeled as you should know but it has not been abused! Seth has excellent wheeling skills and has always been a finese driver and easy on the skinny pedal. He always makes it look easy.
Sad day for the Socal crew....

Hey, thanks for the support, everyone.
First off, it is sad. But, strangely it feels like the right thing to do.
Put it this way, if it doesn't sell...... I won't be devastated.
But if it does sell, I will build something else when the time is right. (Which better be soon).
I love wheeling, but half the fun for me was just building the thing the way I wanted.
When I think of all the money I'll be losing in depreciation, it kinda makes me sick, but then again, I would gladly pay that amount again for all the fun times I had with this truck.
I've put it out there, that's all I can do now. Just sit and wait I guess.

Just found this on Race Dezert:

Tough decision man I once sold a truck I built a few years ago for $16,500 (I really didn't want to), but time went on and I got another. It's all good. Sweet ride for sure. Refinance the home in a couple years and use the equity to build another one. Sorry to hear man. Good luck.

Life's worth living, trucks can be rebuilt. I'd rather have my freedom. I don't wanna work anymore than I already do.
I'll be sad if it goes, but I'm kinda excited to build something else up.
