For what it's worth, I ordered a Can-Back from a vendor who assures me that Can-Back is still building and shipping soft tops for him, although there is a 4 month wait from the date of your order. I also ordered and received 4XJedi's bikini kit. Am also waiting on the top from Windrock, who shipped it out yesterday. By the way, ingenious packaging on the full kit 4x. Very impressive, especially your concern for the sharp edges. My package arrived overnight and my two year old daughter helped me unwrap it when I got home. Many thanks. Can-Back vendor:

Thanks! It really helps me alot with these new boxes. I used to have to completely make the shape from scratch. That took at least 30 min. to box, these are 5 min. to box up. Now I don't mind making the full kits .

The kit was about $95 shipped and the bikini was about $65

 

Where does the optional bow go? I don't remember seeing that in any of the install pics. OR did I just completely miss it?

 

Like in the pictures, the kit came with the leading edge bracket (2 pieces) mounting tabs already installed. I also ordered the optional bow. The top was ordered from windrock it is the bikini top from an fj40 (really), the top comes with the footman loops and screws as well. I don't remember the price right off, I think the canvas was 50ish and the kit was the price posted in the other thread. Downey does sell a kit, but This set up cost less, suported a yotatech follower who provides exeptional customer service. If you buy the complete kit and the top from those two sources you will need nothing else to install it, except a drill, bit and 12mm socket/ratchet
