Of course I tried to contact him...

thats just silly. Why would people just sit here and moan about it without giving an effort to contact the guy first. duh.

I actually sent him mail and haven't heard a thing back for weeks now. Please let me know if you have any luck.
If not I may try and call Downey to see if they'd be willing to give a group deal on their setup. They sell a kit with the support and the top though for around $170. I have the top (that's actually for the FJ-40) and all I need is the channel and support with hooks.

He has at least logged in on 2/8
He either doesn't know this is all going on or he doesn't care and is ignoring everyone's attempts to get a hold of him.

Either way even if someone did get a hold of him I'm not sure if I'd trust him enough to buy/order anything from him.

But hey, that's just me.

4Runner Bikini Kit

I purchased a kit from 4xJedi a long time ago and it's still in the original shipping package he mailed it in. If anybody wants it let me know. I paid $55 plus shipping, not looking to make a profit . Let me know if you want pictures.

I did not purchase the Optional Support bow.

Shipping would be from 06851.

MWS: I'll find out what shipping would cost to 60050. Just so you know I'm waiting to hear from Snowmax3 if he wants the kit, if he doesn't then you're next in line.

Price :$55 plus shipping

Well, I have emailed him and I have got no reply, so have several other users on the board. I would rather purchase a kit than make one, but I now I plan on making my own. Judging from the pics, it does not look that hard.

IF I started a thread on a forum advertising that I was producing a product, I would check the thread occasionally and update people who were interested in it/answer emails ect or if I was no longer interested in making the product, I would delete the thread.

You have to keep in mind that this thread is close to a year old. He had something for sale and then it was over.

Somebody just happened to dig it up from the grave.
Not that I'm condoning ignoring members over email (really, how hard is it to reply: sorry, none left?) but at the same time that's no reason to bash the guy.

I just PM'd him and emailed him again also.

I'm not trying to bash the guy in any way. I am just stating if he isn't selling them or interested in making them anymore, he should delete the thread. To me it appears that he was making or producing these at one point for some sort of profit or sale and had some kind of quantity or stock on hand. ˟˟˟˟ happens to everyone in one way or another where things come up and people get busy, I would just think he would update his original post, email, PM or something.

If he does reply to me and still makes them, I will buy a kit and I am sure there are several others lurking out there that would buy one as well.

I would buy one - I was going to last summer, but never found the funds to do so.

I hope he turns up.

UPDATE-NEW kit in the works!!!

Man, I tried contacting him last year about this very thing with no luck. So I said ta heck w/ him, talked to my girlfriends Dad who just happens to own an industrial canvas shop, & well to make a long story short, I'm almost done w/ a set up of my own which is similar to his (4xJedi). I'm like 95% done...so once I finish up, I'll post back & help you guys out.

email (ebailey77@yahoo.com) or PM me if you're still looking for one.
