I wish there was a AT in that size but sice being in socal not much rain at all. I have had muds before they are great too so I am going for it . I like the 255/85 tire size too much.

well most of my trips are in baja and ive been running bfg at's for the last 14 years on 10 different trucks and have yet to have a blow out, sidewall rip, or any problem for that matter. So you could say im a bit partial to the at's - and ive had the muds but they get too noisy for me for on road driving after a while = hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

I can understand that, Discovers are great tires though, and there are a lot of other different brands. Go to tires-easy.com, they list a lot about 10 of them. Interco's are 1 of the best in that size. Real nice mud with siping.

only thing i could think of would be the fact that slimmer tires are better for mud. road traction and most other terrains, thicker is usually better. maybe not the case, but sounds alright
