Procomp Xtreme ATs

Procomp Xtreme ATs
I'm thinking of getting a set of these in the coming months, does anyone here have them and care to share their thoughts on this tire??
I want a tire that is as aggressive and I can get but still be good on the road. Right now I'm running Procomp ATs and they are great for my needs. The only thing that I've had a rough time with was pulling my trailer, which is a heavy mutha, up a mountain in the mud. I got it up there but I had to put my taco in 4L and lock the rear diff also. I'm thinking the Xtremes will be better in the dirt and still be good on road...they do have the 40k mile warranty.
I'd say the most work my truck gets is pulling logs to road level or off of piles left by the forest service on a property that I cut wood at. And by the way...my 99 tacoma blows my dad's F-150 and my brother's Nissan Frontier out of the water at both of these feats! My truck is FAR lighter than theirs and pulls oak logs that are maybe 30-45 inches in diameter and 6-12 feet long without a hiccup. I dunno how many people do this with their yota so I figured I'd share.
Thanks!!

I'm with 4Hummer. i used to run Pro Comp Xterrains (i only went to Toyo because they where a free swap and bigger) when these Toyo's are gone i'm getting Xterrains again. Best in all weather. fantastic look. really makes a nice conversation piece

the xterrains i had are still going and i had nearly 30k on them and they still have a lot of life left. they are a soft compound.
i don't have experiance with the A/T. we had them on our 05' Dodge 2500 medical treatment Center (MTC) in the oil field in Alberta and i was told by all the drivers that they would loose traction ALOT, and they would get stuck constantly. with the Xterrain i never once felt any of those symptoms.
BUT it's up to you what your looking for in a tire, looks? performance?

The firestone's are alright. I like the extended tread life that they offer but they just aren't aggressive looking enough for me. I was something with a little more bite.
Thanks for the idea though mk!

so you are looking at tires for looks not performance in the field? just curious

hes lookin for performance and look. and by what i've heard the only good firestone is the firestone destination mt's, i hear nothin but bad things about the at's. they look weak and for the most part are weak. ya good tread life on road. but offroad not worth it. they look like highway tires...

well i guess that baby blue is gettin into you. lol settle down there champ. we all hear different things and what we hear we hear. i dont go off ratings i go off of what i have expierenced and what other close friends have expierenced. i hear they are weak!! to the point of my buddy gashed his sidewall his first trip... i know things happen but we all took the same line as him (BFG A/T) and didn't cause any damage. and many other encounters of that such... keep your taco in the nasty mud and i'll keep my 4runner on the rocks. different tires for different places...
